My friend and I rented a boat on July 30th, 2025 in La Maddalena without needing a boating license. The model was B.B Spargi 40/60 40PS. From the moment we arrived, the employee named Bruno made an unnecessary remark and even crossed himself as if renting to us would be a problem. He then tried to explain how the boat works – but instead of being helpful, his tone was arrogant and condescending. Since it was our first time renting a boat, we were cautious at the start. Bruno commented to me, “If you drive a car like you drive this boat, that’s not good.” Completely unprofessional and insulting. People who work in customer service should at least show basic friendliness and professionalism – Bruno is the complete opposite. Especially for beginners, the start is always the hardest. If they don’t want to rent to people without a boating license, then they should clearly state it upfront instead of making customers feel unwelcome and humiliated. The day itself was beautiful, the boat ran perfectly, and we enjoyed exploring the islands. However, when returning the boat, Bruno charged €50 for fuel, even though the tank was still half full. While the boat itself was good and the trip was worth it, I strongly advise against renting from this company. Treating customers with respect should be the minimum standard – after all, they make their money thanks to us.
Really lovely boat and friendly and given good information before using. The only negative is that we were changed €50 for fuel even though the advertisement said it was included in the price which was already €249! We did accidentally damage the propellers which we apologised and paid an extra €50 for which we didn’t mind but then to ask is for the fuel money too was just ridiculous when we were on the understanding we had paid for it already especially when we checked how much we’d used and it was next to nothing.
Boat brand new as well as the engine. Service and instructions were great! Highly recomend

Very good experience, we ended up not going to Budelli because the sea was too rough for us and we didn't feel comfortable. Very friendly reception, I recommend it.
Noelia and her partner have treated us very well, making everything very easy and simple. And especially fast. Without a doubt, if we ever return to Isla Maddalena, we will rent with them again!
Unclear information about where to go. We could only go to 1 island because of (too) strong wind. Returned after 2.5 hours, waves too high, no refund for this. No friendly comment or explanation either €40.- petrol used for back and forth Spargi (=10km) js downright ridiculous. Overall very mediocre experience. GrFranc Meijerman
