Boat rental in La Rochelle · Beneteau — Oceanis 38.1 (2020)

We had a great day aboard Fred and Marie's sailboat with our family. The weather was radiant and warm, so there was very little wind... but that didn't stop us from having a wonderful time: a warm welcome and sharing at sea. To do again with wind ?! I recommend it.

First of all, we had a great day. However, I have a few remarks: The welcome was quite "cold", we arrived on time but Fred was quite tense because the tide left us little time to leave the port. Something that could have been anticipated and avoided. In addition, we would have appreciated a coffee or a drink, and a short tour of the boat. Even after the rush of the departure. The interior of the cabin and the toilets were frankly dirty. No toilet paper in the toilets. The cat litter smelled really bad. In short, we really didn't feel like we were expected. We had brought our picnic, but you should know that the skipper and his son had not planned anything, we shared our meal, which surprised us, even abused us. In the attitude too, it was a bit shameless... Especially since at no time did they (Fred and his son) offer us even a drink. During lunch, we were able to swim, it was very pleasant, but at no time during the day were we able to participate in the maneuvers, and it is very regrettable. We had a great day, but I remain disappointed compared to my previous experiences and the very minimalist level of service.

Very pleasant day in the bay of La Rochelle. Beautiful walk and excellent moments spent in the company of Fréd and his son Matthieu. Outstanding sailors, passionate, very educational and full of stories and knowledge to share.

Family day of navigation (2 parents and 3 children 5, 8 and 10 years old) very pleasant, all in safety. The very experienced captain is very pedagogical, serene and patient. The captain's 2 "team members" (his children) helped ensure that this day was completely safe for our young children. The boat is spacious, like new and reassuring to discover the pleasure of sailing. THANKS to all 3 ??

My kids and I loved this day ? Marie and Fred are very welcoming, really nice and friendly. Fred is a teacher and full of anecdotes! The boat is superb. It's obvious that if we go back there we will renew the experience ?
