We had the worst experience with click and boat platform and also with the owner After we searched for a boat with 4 room's and two bathrooms in the region of Athena the result was showing IRENE monohul boat in Lavrio Marina .The price was 2040 with cleaning fee included. We have paid 1000 euro the first downpayment and I have Ben contacted by the owner and an agent for the crew list. Also after the payment I have notice that the boat was located in Lefkada. The owner propose me to deliver the boat to Lavrio. I have spent 400 euro for traveling to make the delivery after I had a verbal agreement with the owner. At my arrival in Lefkada the boat was in very bad shape and after a carefully consideration I decided that the boat presented safety concern. I have documented the check in with video and photos. Broken hatches, no handle of the bathroom dors, very hard to maneuver throttle handle, loose belt on the engine, broken rolling components on the sailing mechanism , broken linen in the rooms, persistent smell of mold . I decided not to deliver the boat . After contacting click and boat and presented the video and photo with the boat, they considered that the boat dose not resent safety concern and advise me to ask the owner for a similar boat . The owner refused to provide us with similar boat in Lavrio marina. On the date of the real check (our rental)in on 28 September 2024 the owner could not be contacted. It has ben a week since we contacted clickandboat for the refund and we had no response. ****************Reply from the owner********************* “It is evident from the data and evidence provided that this individual attempted to blackmail us for financial gain under the pretense of safety concerns. Neither Click&Boat, nor his bank supported his claims after thoroughly reviewing the evidence we presented. Both rejected his allegations, confirming our transparency and the baseless nature of his complaints. The client’s demand for a free upgrade to a significantly more expensive yacht lacked any valid contractual or ethical basis. Upon rejecting this, the client escalated to exaggerated claims about the yacht's condition, further highlighting a calculated attempt for financial gain. All relevant evidence has been documented and shared with his agent and bank, both of which firmly rejected his claim. Our company, with a proven record of satisfied customers and positive reviews for both our yachts and services, stands by its integrity and will not be swayed by such unfounded allegations. Thodoris was a very good owner to charter from. He had good communication and quick action when we had any questions or issues. The boat we chartered was a bit aged, which is why we had a good value for our charter. Major maintenance was addressed, but some minor maintenance needed attention. The stove was not working on arrival, but Thodoris personally came and swapped so we had a working stove. Furling sails in great shape and a pleasure to sail. Overall, I would charter again, we had a lovely time in Ionian. Set expectations for the boat appropriately given age and do thorough inspection before for maintenance disembarking.
We were very pleasantly surprised how well this yacht from 2006 is maintained. The solars lasted for 8 days without shore charging and there is WiFi on board. Theodoris is a great host who is available at any time. The bed linnen and towels felt very luxurious and the new sails show off beautifully! We had a great stay on board of the Irene and will certainly look for the same yacht or any of the others of MY HOLIDAYS next time
there were 2 broken cabin handles, my daughters could not close their cabin or the bathroom, as well as many cabin and deck lamps, so we were in the dark to eat on deck! the walkway was also broken, we put a board but dangerous for my 10 year old daughters. Kitchen equipment too basic, lack of cutlery. Problem also with the dinghy shuttle whose engine broke down, too weak for 4 people.As well as the ink which broke at sea.Problem with the skipper who broke a window on the bridge and made mistakes by crashing the boat at the exit of the quay in the port with the inks of the other boats.All these problems delayed the program and we couldn't do the north of the islands!
