Boat rental in Lefkada · Beneteau — Cyclades 50.5 (2006)

The boat I rented was not as the one described in the announcement. Autopilot broken. GPS not present aboard. Dinghy with flat. Second engine not working since the beginning. Four Serbian friends to the owner/skipper came onboard to try to fix it, with no permission. They arrived bringing alcohol and started smoking beside the tank with fuel. Main engine broke in Kastos on August 22nd and forced us to stop the whole day at the harbor. Eventually the main engine was fixed by us, the owner was drinking alcohol meanwhile. We could not sail during the first three days because the sails were broken. Anchor light not working. Not enough anchor to moor the boat (only 50mt). Fridge not working, we had to throw away food. When we step aboard the boat was very very dirty and doors were broken. We have been put in dangerous situations. The crew was not up to the tasks they were call to do, like mooring the boat and doing safe knots. We had to jump in the water at 9pm (it was already totally dark) in order to do the mooring. We definitely did not receive the services and boat boasted in the announcement, discovering every day something that was not working properly.
