Discover the wonders of Lake Maggiore aboard the Chios 170 Salmeri, a 5.5-meter boat equipped with a Suzuki DF40 ASTL 40 HP engine, characterized by low fuel consumption and certified for 6 people. Perfect for an outing with family or friends, this boat guarantees comfort and safety during navigation. On board, you'll find all the equipment you need for a day of relaxation and fun: a swim ladder, a shower, comfortable cushions for both sitting and sunbathing, and an awning for shelter during the hottest hours of the day. The departure point is the small port of Arolo, in the municipality of Leggiuno. From there, it's just a 5-minute boat ride to the splendid Hermitage of Santa Caterina, while the fascinating Borromean Islands are about 10 minutes away. A boating license is not required, so you can choose to drive yourself or hire me as your skipper to fully discover the beauty of the lake. Full-day skipper fee: €100 Half-day skipper fee: €60 Fuel is not included in the rental price. We had a wonderful day on the lake. The boat handover and the briefing went completely smoothly. We received a warm welcome upon arrival. All in all, a perfect day. We can recommend it without hesitation, and we were happy to pay the €65 fuel fee for nine hours at sea.

We had tried to rent a smaller boat, but it was already booked. Thanks to the quick communication, we were offered this boat as an alternative. They spared no effort in helping us get our Labrador on board, as the boat is moored in the harbor by a steep ladder that, of course, the dog couldn't get down. So they sailed the boat to a pier so everyone could get on board. It was wonderful! We spent the whole day on the water. The ladder made it easy for the kids to get in and out of the water for a dip in the lake. After seven hours of sailing, we had to pay €60 for fuel. The owner, his father, and his wife were very helpful and helped us arrange everything.
I was on the water for four hours. I have nothing to complain about. Fuel cost an additional €15 afterward, even with moderate cruising. Overall, I'm satisfied.
