Overall rating
Good value for money, Ingrid is very pleasant and accommodating. The boat could use a little updating, especially on the electronics. We were still very happy with our stay on board.
We spent a wonderful few days with the little ones aboard the Barolo. Very maneuverable and easy to navigate. We'll be back. Thanks, Ingrid and Löic.
Perfect!! Barolo is spacious and has good navigation performance. Ingrid is super good, always available to answer the messages I sent her. 100% recommended
Thanks to Ingrid and her team for their welcome and their wise sailing advice. One-week cruise to Cadaqués. Of course, there are 2/3 odds and ends to improve/repair (nothing too bad) and Barolo is a good walker, easy to sail and very pleasant at anchor. Equipment is regularly added to facilitate navigation. Among other things, we appreciated the electric winch, the solar panels and the large aft beach for swimming. Excellent value for money for renting a sailboat over 40 feet.
Ingrid and Nadège were very responsive and always friendly from booking to check-out. Loick is very attentive to small technical problems encountered (e.g. broken mainsail slide). The boat is comfortable and spacious. The navigation area beyond Collioure with nice little ports and numerous coves is idyllic. I took a “first time” crew there and they all came back delighted. I recommend.
We had a great weekend on this boat. This one is very pleasant, and the owner is very welcoming.
Ingrid and her son were very welcoming and very accommodating to allow us to have the best sailing weekend possible. THANKS !
We have spent 5 wonderful days on Ingrid's boat “Barolo”. The Check-In was a little complicated because the person only knew French and did not have much knowledge of navigation or the boat, but we could clarify any doubts with the owner by phone. The boat is in a good condition - everything worked well with a few exceptions (bathing platform outside could not be lowered and raised easily, there was only one crank working to set the sails, the small motor for the Dingi did not work, the bathroom in the bow It wasn't very clean and had a pretty strong smell) In general it must be said that for this price it is a very good boat that is already old but with which you can spend a very good vacation.
I would like to warn you about the boat which suffers from repeated rentals and little maintenance... We were 7 on board and the dishes were insufficient. There was almost no check-in or check-out so I understand better why: - we didn't have any boat hooks on board - A broken rear skirt which makes access to the water quite difficult (and access to the rescue cannot!) - An empty battery park when taking control of the boat, which forced us to run the engine continuously - Solar panels not sufficient to maintain a battery park at a minimum - A non-functional sea water pump - A full black water box at the start - A water tank gauge that does not work completely - The electric winch that does not work - The front toilet pump is leaking - The cooler that smells of vomit and a fairly approximate cleaning - The rear part of the bimini which does not exist - The bridge light that does not work (night navigation at the front) It's a shame this boat has potential and could be very pleasant with the few repairs between the rentals carried out. We still enjoyed this week aboard Barolo. I hope that my message will be heard by the owners and read by the next tenants in order to avoid any disappointment.
The Oceanis 41 is a good boat for a family cruise of 7: nice space, large water capacity, top battery bank with solar panel. It's a pity that Barolo suffers from premature wear of its fittings: we encountered problems with the genoa car and the mainsail pulley broken. They will be replaced when the boat returns by Ingrid and her very responsive team. Big disappointment also not to have been able to use the beautiful rear platform - ideal with children - the parts ordered did not arrive before our departure. If these minor issues are corrected, I recommend this boat and am ready to sail again next year.
A very negative experience particularly on the attitude of the owner and the level of maintenance of the boat. Vigilance on the fuel, the gauge is not precise, do not venture to want to be accommodating by filling the tank if it was not full during the inventory of fixtures of departure. The difference will not be refunded to you, which cost me 250€ and I am still waiting for an answer, 2 weeks after the return of the boat. Unfortunately, we weren't able to take advantage of the rear deck which had been broken for a while, but as we learned on the day of our arrival, we weren't able to cancel in time. Several elements did not work like the high beams, not allowing us to navigate at night. The equipment does not include a life raft and you will have an annex that only accepts 3 people. If there are 6 or 8 of you, be careful in the event of a problem on the high seas. Also plan a few hours to restore some cleanliness in the cabins. Too bad because if the boat had been better maintained and the owner more honest, we could have had a very nice week. However, I remain hopeful of a positive return and I hope that my comment will help you to be attentive and vigilant before booking.
Very good reception and handling of the boat. We were only 2 and the boat is very spacious and comfortable, good bedding, large water capacity and batteries. Super pregnant. Good performance on the water (10 -11 knots with downwind). It is well maintained and the owner listens to the small adjustments to be made. (12V elec panel had to be repaired) Flexibility on arrival and departure times. We recommend! We were able to go to Cadaques over 3 days.
For a first experience it was really impeccable! Thank you Ingrid and Phil. The boat lived up to our expectations and was easy to handle. I highly recommend.
Very good communication, thank you. The sailboat pleasantly surprised me in comfort and speed in navigation. Successful holidays!
Very good sailing weekend aboard this efficient and comfortable sailboat. Thanks Ingrid.
Pleasant boat and welcome
Very good contact and warm welcome with the owners. The Barolo is as described. It is clean and well maintained. We had a very pleasant stay on this sailboat. Navigation is easy and quick to learn. First successful experience on Click&Boat!
