Boat rental in Palma de Mallorca · Bavaria — Cruiser 36 (2013)

To enjoy without complications. Great first experience with a rental sailboat. Very good delivery and reception of the boat with the Starsails team. We stayed for a week in July with Kathy Cool, communication with Helge prior to the trip was good, although he always answers in German, you can use the translator. The onboarding and checklist with Eduardo and Mario was good with explanations of how to handle the rig, answering all my questions and reviewing everything necessary. The mooring is not the most comfortable, you have to moor from the stern, but Mario helped us with the final delivery, always with a smile. Regarding the boat, the Garmin system is good, the mainsail system on the mast is very comfortable, being able to hoist it from the cockpit by yourself. There is no radio in bathtub. It has a bow motor to facilitate maneuvering. The Batteries were fully charged with the alternator and the fridge lasted day and night. And the engine barely spent 50 liters all week. The anchoring system worked perfectly. The dinghy and outboard ran great all week. To put a fault, we were in the middle of a heat wave, and it was hard to sleep, despite having all the hatches open. I wish these sailboats had A/C, in the end we had to have a hotel for the family to sleep comfortably. Pay attention, the delivery is on Saturday at 9 a.m. having to return to port to refuel on Friday at 5 p.m. This is not in accordance with the announcement of Click&Boat that says that it is delivered on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. This is one day less than reserved.

Excellent reception and assistance from Mario at the delivery of the boat and during the trip. Attentive and super friendly. The boat deserves a renovation. In general, the Kathy Cool was fine without more, without any detail that would have significantly surprised.
