Boat rental in Pirovac · — Antares 9 Ob (2023)

The boat has no teak deck, no TV, and no heating as described in the advert. The latter was very annoying as we know that it can get cold in October and we relied on being able to heat it up. When we picked up the boat, it smelled of petrol everywhere; perhaps the customer before us had overfilled and some of the fuel spilled over. The toilet also had a scent. It seems that it had been a while since the last rental and no one had bothered to air it out when we picked it up. A number of fittings on the cupboard doors are worn out and some of the straps on the upholstery have also broken off. The batteries in the noise detector were empty, and even after asking, none could be obtained. The battery in the ignition key was also reported as empty on the display! Surely a guide would notice something like that during the briefing? Would I rent this boat again? Hard to say, I don't think so.
