Just to point out that the boat is in fair condition but some elements of the boat need to be renovated to make it really comfortable… the swim ladder is far too short; the throttle too soft; usb sockets etc… shame but that did not prevent us from having a good afternoon!

Do I need a license to rent this boat?

You must have a boat license to drive this boat. The paper document may be requested by the boat owner on the day of booking. Please note that it is possible to book the boat with a skipper; in which case you will not need a boat license.

In the case of problems with the boat at sea, am I insured?

All boats made available on Click&Boat are covered by at least a mandatory third-party liability insurance (RC), as required by applicable regulations. This insurance generally covers damages caused to third parties, but does not cover damages caused to the rented boat itself. In the event of damage to the boat during the rental period, the owner is entitled to retain part or all of the deposit left by the renter in order to cover the repair costs. The renter may, where eligible, take out a damage waiver insurance in order to protect their deposit. As a general rule, damages are to be settled directly between the renter and the boat owner. In case no agreement can be reached, the matter may need to be referred to the competent legal authority.
