Boat rental in Port d'Andratx · La Caballa (sin Licencia) — Estable 415 (2017)

We were ultimately only there for 3 hours (a decision entirely ours; due to the waves, we preferred to leave earlier), but I was quite shocked that they gave us the boat with half the gas (communicated by the guy), and he told us that for the whole day it would be between €5 and €10 for gas since the boat had a distance limit and we weren't going to spend more. To our surprise, when we returned, after having only gone to the first cove, they charged us €15 for gas and told us that we had used up more than half the tank, which they gave us halfway. To be honest, I wasn't happy about that since that's not what they had told us and on top of that, we had been there less than half the time we were originally supposed to with the boat moving.

A super cool experience, one we'll definitely do again. My partner, my 6-year-old son, and I took the boat. It lasted practically the whole day, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and it was a lot of fun. The staff were super friendly, and we'll definitely be back!

Beware of this rip-off! A 0-star rating is unfortunately not possible. The owner is very unfriendly. They advertise a boat that supposedly allows you to travel around the entire island. Once we got there, we discovered that you could only go to one bay (which wasn't even nice) because the boat wasn't licensed for any other locations. It takes exactly 20 minutes to get to this "bay," and then it's over. A total joke! Please never book through this rip-off company! We booked a day tour for 8 hours, but we canceled it after 3 hours. We then only wanted to pay for half the day, but Aurelio wouldn't compromise! No concessions, nothing!

I live on the island and had specifically looked for a rental company that would allow me to take a boat to Dragonera without a license. Legally, this was only possible in the immediate vicinity of the island. So I decided to go with this rental company. I communicated this from day one. On the day of the rental, I was then casually informed that the boat I had rented could only take me to the next bay. There were four of us and the boat was apparently too small to go to Dragonera. Distance 20-30 minutes (15 hp). In order to still be able to do our planned route, we would have to rent another boat, which meant an additional charge of €55. Based on the communication beforehand and the casual explanation, which was not explained in any more detail, the whole thing obviously seemed like a rip-off. When I asked why this was not explained in the chat beforehand, all I got was: "We are three people who work here, maybe that got lost." A shame for us, because Dragonera was the main reason for renting in this place. The operators we dealt with are not Mallorcans either. After the initial difficulties and the larger boat, the experience was great! Good boat and the return went smoothly too. The island is easy to reach and a fantastic day trip destination. When we returned it, another employee from England was sitting at the desk and explained to us that we probably shouldn't use the smaller boat because three Germans capsized in it a year ago. The reason was a passing ship + all the people on one side. If this really was the reason, an explanation beforehand that it was purely about our safety would have been good.

We had a great day on board this boat! We were able to go around a few coves and find places to swim quietly, really great I recommend!

We had the small boat without a license and it was an absolute experience! We booked 4 hours and brought our snorkeling equipment. We went to 4 different bays, one of which was an absolute dream for snorkeling (with a small cave) We were even able to go to St. Elm. I can only absolutely recommend it and the price-performance ratio is absolutely top! We'll be back!

Everything well arranged. The engine made a lot of noise. Communication on the boat while sailing was almost impossible. A whole day for this sailing area was too long.
