Rent First 260 Spirit, very well equipped and located in the harbor of Lorient, departing from Port-Louis. Well maintained, 2023 sails, lazy bag, 9 hp inboard engine, autopilot with weather vane/anemometer, safety equipment and dinghy, kitchen area with stove and cooler, chart table, dining table, 4 berths, marine toilet, water tank water with 2 sinks. With its powerful hull and straight bow, the First 260 is lively under sail and efficient at all speeds. Well prepared – neat hull, folding propeller and beautiful sails – this model is even competitive in regattas.

Olivier is a very welcoming and very flexible person. Because of a legendary slump I was able to return the boat the next day at no extra cost, thanks to him. The boat is very pleasant to sail and corresponds to the advertisement. It is ideal for an outing of a few days for 2 or 3 people. The equipment on board is suitable (very efficient autopilot, efficient sails) except for a few details. On the other hand, cleanliness is not up to par (forward cabin, very moldy toilet and cooler, etc.). The storage is not there either (unusable storage compartments and chests). Certainly a boat lives, but cleanliness and storage are not optional, a shame at 200€ per day. Finally, there are different charts and materials in the chart table, be sure to check that the mandatory documentation is up to date. Fair winds and beautiful seas.

J’ai beaucoup navigué en bretagne sud avec quelques expériences en Bretagne nord et iles scilly. J’apprécie naviguer avec mes amis, mon fils de 5 ans et ma conjointe. La voile me procure des sensations de liberté qu’il est difficile de trouver sur terre, et me permet de partager de bons moments avec mes proches. Je participe ponctuellement à quelques régates dans la saison pour l’esprit sportif. J’aime partager cette belle passion de la voile et de la région qui nous entoure.
