The sailboat can be rented by the hour: Price per hour - €90. Classic sailboat fully restored in 2021. With capacity for eight people (7 + captain). Ideal for day charters, sunset trips, weekend cruises and school practices. Family boat, cared for and conditioned, with all new equipment maintaining the style that made it legendary, aimed at providing maximum safety and comfort. Ideal to get to know the Bay of Cádiz and its history, from the Phoenicians to the War of Independence and the constitution of 1812. Get a different vision of Cádiz, on the other side of its historic walls. Enjoy a swim on the beach of La Caleta, or contemplate in Sancti Petri the same sunset in which Julius Caesar cried before the statue of Alexander the Great, in the temple where the remains of Hercules rested. Cádiz is the history of Spain, and the History of humanity. I invite you to relive it from the sea. I have been sailing for 23 years, repairing and restoring boats for 12. I have traveled throughout the peninsula, always as a skipper, and on boats restored by myself. I love the sea, and sharing my passion for it. When I saw the Telethusa, I knew that this would be my family's boat, even without knowing its history, which is not short. After a year of work out of the water, with a completely restored boat, the boat returned to what was its first home, the Real Club Náutico de Cádiz, in the center of the Cadiz city. To dance in the waters of Gades, like the dancer after whom it receives its name. It is a source of pride when, upon entering a port other than ours, a skipper, usually more than five decades old, approaches you and asks if this is really the "Telethusa of a lifetime"...

Manuel arranged the service for us with another boat, as his own were occupied. This boat was clearly inferior to what we had agreed upon and failed to provide any of the agreed-upon services. We paid €500 in cash to the skipper, which was the price for the 6-hour charter of his boat, and Manuel kept the remaining €250, without having provided any service. We had clearly asked him if he was taking a commission, as we preferred to book directly with the other person. He told me he wasn't taking a commission, that it was a favor between colleagues, that they passed clients around. A quid pro quo. Since all of this was untrue, and after demanding the remaining €250 back after the price was clearly higher than the service, he refused to return it. We clearly explained the reason for the rental, our expectations, and our needs, and all of them were not met. The welcome was very unpleasant, unpunctual, and included phrases like, "This is what it is, and if you don't like it, tough luck." From then on, the discomfort steadily increased, as it felt like we were just passing through instead of being the boat's guests. Only as the hours went by did the captain, seeing that we were responsible people who simply wanted to have a good time, calm down and become more relaxed. But I wouldn't wish those first moments on anyone. There were a lot of things we had agreed upon with Manuel, and none of them were honored. Furthermore, we didn't hear anything about the boat or the captain until hours before departure. I don't know if it was because he didn't want us to discover the scam and back out at the last minute. The price we paid was completely out of line with the boat we traveled on and the service provided. The captain of the boat we finally traveled on confirmed this, stating that the price was €500 and that Manuel had taken the rest as a commission. He said we had expected a superior boat and service commensurate with the price we paid, when that wasn't the actual price of his boat. Manuel has refused to refund any of my money, claiming he will use it to pay his self-employment contributions and social security payments. He has offered me a free trip on his boat on another day as compensation, but frankly, I don't want to travel with someone who tried to scam me. I am requesting through this platform that I be reimbursed for the portion of the money that was charged incorrectly, or that I be compensated in some way financially for this discrepancy between price and service.
It was a great experience, highly recommended. Manuel is a delight; he made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves at all times. He took great care of every detail, and we felt very safe and comfortable with him. You can tell he knows what he's doing. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much!

100% recommended. We were 5 friends and it couldn't have been a better experience. The boat was very well equipped and with a mat that the 5 of us could fit on!! And Manuel was charming, always making sure we were comfortable and we also had a good laugh with him. I repeat without a doubt ;)
We went to say goodbye to my friend and without a doubt it was the best part of the weekend. Manuel is a charm! Without a doubt we would repeat it a thousand times. Super attentive to us and was one more in the group. The best of the farewell!!
Fantastic experience with Manu today. Super boss, attentive to all our requests and with great recommendations and better conversation. We have spent an unbeatable day on the boat with him. The boat is also very comfortable.
