The Manolo Samoa 36 II sailboat is a super robust boat with a maximum capacity allowed in the Brazilian Navy document of 12 people including 2 crew members. I built this sailboat to travel around the world through the Tropics, but it wasn't possible yet so I decided to sail as a Charter day or small cruises in and around Rio de Janeiro. The sailboat has all the safety equipment required by the Brazilian Navy. In Rio de Janeiro there are 3 wonderful places to visit: Rio de Janeiro Cidade Maravilhosa, Ilha Grande Bay and its surroundings, And Búzios and Arraial do Cabo.

Fantastic trip. Jose was very helpful from the very beginning and he is a great chef. Very friendly atmosphere and we had a wonderful trip ending with a beautiful sunset view.
La experiencia de navegar en el barco de José Mauro fue única, el barco está muy bien equipado y tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar un increíble día a bordo. Disfrutamos mucho de la barbacoa que hicimos frente al mar, de poder bañarnos en mar abierto y de disfrutar de un día maravillosa en esta hermosa embarcación junto a toda mi familia. Además José Mauro y su hijo fueron muy amables en todo momento, disfrutamos mucho de su compañía. Definitivamente volveríamos a navegar con ellos. Gracias por regalarnos una experiencia maravillosa por las costas de Rio de Janeiro. — The experience of sailing on José Mauro's boat was unique, the boat is very well equipped and has everything you need to spend an incredible day on board. We really enjoyed the barbecue we had in front of the sea, being able to swim in the open sea and enjoying a wonderful day on this beautiful boat with my entire family. Furthermore, José Mauro and his son were very friendly at all times, we really enjoyed his company. We would definitely sail with them again. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience along the coasts of Rio de Janeiro.
Boat trip without any interest with feeling of insecurity..not even a bottle of water offered, does not know how to anchor, loses his annex by clumsiness, does not know how to sail if we can call that navigation...we stayed in the bay for supposedly orange weather forecasts when there was a big blue sky and we did not see a drop of rain, no swimming or snorkeling possible... The day was supposed to end at 5 p.m. but at 4 p.m. we were moored to his mooring We strongly advise against this trip..(we are sailors with a boat in Metropolitan France)
José is a very good host and was always attentive to our needs, even before boarding. Unfortunately, we were expecting a boat without a skipper (which is what we specified in the app) with the expectation of sailing it ourselves, but to our surprise it was not what the owner had planned. Obviously some kind of misunderstanding.

Sou Engenheiro Eletricista aposentado, Já participei 3 vezes da Regato Recife-Fernando de Noronha(REFENO) e da regata Fernando de Noronha-Natal, moro no Rio de Janeiro e construi este Veleiro para dar volta ao Mundo, por enquanto estou por aqui navegando. Eu navego só ou quando estou conduzindo algum passeio um de meus filho vem junto para completar a tripulação.
