CAP Caraïbes/Sete Upon our arrival to pick up the boat we had rented, 4-5 young men gathered at the entrance of the establishment, their attitude already very unwelcoming. From the outset, the initial contact was complicated. They looked down on us, systematically refusing all our requests - then pretending that these were just misunderstandings! The atmosphere was already tense! Then followed the inspection of the boat, made difficult by its layout - the rear left corner was barely visible. A corner with a chip on the hull. But it was upon our return that their full bad faith was revealed! One of the men raised the engine and suggested the possibility that the propeller might have touched something, even though it hadn't! The photo of the propeller before departure was spontaneously taken out - so he immediately turned his attention to the rear left corner. We then understand that their goal is to "stick it to us for dearly!" We remember that this corner could not be properly photographed because of the way the boat was docked. But of course, upon return, the boat is parked by the owners so that only that can be seen!!! After some hesitation on our part, we still come across a photo taken for a scratch that clearly highlights the broken corner!!! They must know their boats, right?! Their approach is to deliberately scam us! But it doesn't stop there! Having demanded to supervise the refueling (in this regard, a great scam is organized on their website since it is stipulated that this type of boat consumes 50l/h - you can imagine what that does!!!) for example, we were on the boat for 6 hours, sailed, pulled a wake, a buoy, for about 4h30 - we should have refueled 250 liters according to their website!), we were able to see that 29l was given. On this subject, the needle on the fuel gauge is stuck on foll ?? But the scam still doesn't stop! I am told 66€ more to pay! To the question: "how much do you charge per liter?" I am answered: "2.49€ It's contractual!" ah! Really?! €2.49, that's 1.5 times the price at the pump - what justifies that? But the worst part is that nowhere on the website or in the contract is the price per liter indicated!!! So it's "screwing the customer"! So, just one piece of advice: if you hear about "CAP CARAÏBES" for boat rentals! Run away! And go to JLC BOAT LOCATION - much more friendly and honest!
