Adrien was very welcoming: clear and precise explanations for us who are discovering this activity and the locks. Easy and quick communication via WhatsApp or telephone. The boat is clean, the ideal size for a couple or a small family. All the necessary equipment is available (kitchen, bedding, etc.). We will return with him for a future experience. Very nice experience on Amandine and Adrien's boat! Comfortable and ideal for a weekend with friends of 5 adults. The only downside was the oven malfunctioning and minor battery issues, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Summary: we naive and in good faith, completely abandoned by Click&Boat, an old shabby boat, false and dishonest owners. We had booked a penichette from August 8 to August 15, 2022 departing from San Jean de Losne. Erics steamer owned by Adrien Meunier. After two days, on the morning of August 10, the engine broke down while we were waiting in front of a lock in Dole: the reverse gear/brake suddenly stopped working. We notify the owners who arrive after an hour and are unable to fix the fault, telling us that they have no alternative but to interrupt the rental. When signing the return of the boat, they ask us to take responsibility on the grounds that a branch would have damaged the propeller through our fault. But nothing like that had happened. We inform Click&Boat in Italy and we are told not to sign and to wait for the call from customer care. The next day Elisa from customer care writes us an email claiming that they (Click&Boat) can't do anything. They suggest appointing one of our experts to assess the causes of the damage. One can imagine how it is possible for Italian tourists on holiday in France to find a trusted expert on site. We also appeal to the river gendarmerie which declares itself incompetent on the matter. After more than twenty-four hours of messages, we meet with the owners to close the dispute and have the unused days returned. At their request, we sign a declaration saying “I noticed that something touched the propeller and the reverse gear no longer worked”. The owners tell us that this document will allow them to get reimbursed by their insurance. On August 16, Swikly informs us that the owners have collected the entire security deposit of 1500 euros, citing the failure of the propeller. But we reiterate that no external event caused the engine to fail and currently the owners have not provided us with any supporting documents demonstrating the damage. In exchange for this declaration signed by us, the owners sign a declaration in which they undertake to pay 850 euros by bank transfer for unused days. To date, the transfer has not been executed. To date we have only received a refund of 520 euros from Click&Boat (less than half of what we were owed, considering 175 euros of unused fuel 680 euros of unused rental and about 170 euros of commissions Click&Boat for unused days). An engine failure can happen but a dishonest owner and the abandonment in which he left us Click&Boat are unacceptable. Know that in case you rent this old boat Erics managed by a professional owner in case of problems Click&Boat does not give you any assistance. Not even legal action is convenient, given that Click&Boat is a French company. Last observation Click&Boat is a company with capital of around 6,000 euros: a figure that certainly does not allow for reimbursement in all cases

The barge is fine for 2 people and a short stay, otherwise this model is a little too limited in terms of storage space and living space, especially if the weather does not allow you to be on deck. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable. (the formalities are very important in time and documents which in the end is counterproductive, too much kills the good) noted that it is ideally located and leaves a varied choice of direction for short and long stays) we spent 3 days pleasant on board with summer weather! Very good stay on board the boat. It is well equipped, well laid out for a family with two children, especially for safety. The owners are welcoming and responsive, offer a little navigation to take control of the boat. The itinerary advice allowed us to discover the region with great pleasure. Thanks to them!
