Good morning, I invite you to board this super sailboat, which has convinced more than one sailor! One of the greatest successes of the manufacturer Beneteau, which can be explained by its great cruiser qualities. It is difficult to do better in terms of comfort and family boat, its two cabins as well as its convertible saloon will allow it to accommodate up to 6 people on board, perfect for a group of friends or a family. The tiller is gentle at all speeds and the two rudders allow great ease of maneuvering without ever stalling when heeling. This monohull has not forgotten performance under sail and will accompany you safely throughout the stopovers in our region. Once the daggerboard is raised, the boat will be able to land gently on its finned ballast and its two rudders without even having to prop up its legs. Departing from Saint Quay Portrieux, you can discover Northern Brittany, in the marvelous site of the Goëlo coast, 12 miles from Bréhat, 32 miles from Saint-Malo and Chausey, 40 miles from Jersey, 115 miles from Plymouth... and 3 hours from Paris by TGV... Overall rating
A good week overall with favorable weather conditions for a first charter experience. The boat was old and was not optimal in certain points of sail: Difficulties in going upwind without a mainsail traveler and downwind due to the asymmetrical spinnaker and the large spreaders which prevented the mainsail from being completely eased, the engine is a little weak depending on the current conditions. The double rudders complicated port maneuvers a little. However, despite these few drawbacks, we were able to carry out our initial navigation plan and had a good week on a boat where we felt safe.
Vincent and Angelique are very friendly and accommodating. The boat was clean and very well prepared.
Boat conforms to its characteristics in navigation. Only the autopilot did not work (but not essential in the context of our week of navigation) Small points of improvement suggested on return. Very good welcome from Angélique and Vincent. I recommend.
