Boat rental in Sami · Bavaria — 50 Cruiser (2013)

We had a fantastic experience with this yachting company and especially with the sailboat Altair! The team was exceptional in ensuring compliance, safety and cleanliness, making the trip comfortable and worry-free. The boat was well-maintained, offering great value for the money. Communication was seamless and staff friendly and professional throughout. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-notch yachting experience !

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with the Maravegias Yachting team. The check-out, and mid charter communication and organisation was unacceptable. I’ve used Click and Boat previously and had good experiences with owners. However this boat is managed by a different firm, who let the entire thing down. Despite giving the team ample warning of when we were returning back to the marina (per their own request) on arrival we were forced to circle the marina for a long while as they repaired and moved other boats to get us a different mooring. We were then told a series of badly communicated statements that turned out not to be true (when / if a fuel truck was coming, what time we could check out, when the deposit would be ready to pay back to us). This all resulted in us being forced to wait in the marina for 3.5 hours before we could leave, as well as having to pay additional taxi waiting fees. The team were incredibly rude and dismissive of any of our efforts to find a fair resolution to the situation. The communication was also dreadful throughout the charter, some of our questions over whatsapp to the team were simply never answered. Others were answered with unhelpful statements or unclear instructions. Overall, the boat was acceptable, if a little tired around the edges. However, the team from Maravegias Yachting let the whole thing down, and I would highly advise anyone considering chartering through them to reconsider.

For the past 14 years, our sailing adventures have been memorable, but this recent journey stands out as the pinnacle of our experiences. The owner of the boat, along with everyone involved with Altair, greeted us warmly, provided invaluable assistance, and demonstrated exceptional communication skills, surpassing all our expectations. The boat was delivered impeccably clean and maintained, enhancing our enjoyment throughout the voyage. Altair, a luxurious sailboat, offered unparalleled comfort and outstanding value for the money. We wholeheartedly recommend it! Many thanks to the team, and we look forward to our next voyage with you!

Thank-you Spiros, Mike and Stamatis for an excellent week. Altair is a beautiful boat in excellent condition. The perfect size for a two family cruise and Sami is an ideal base to start from. We will be back!

Such a lovely experience on this amazing boat. It really was the highlight of our vacations. We got in touch with the owner from Maravegias Yachting regarding the boat, Spiro was so helpful with all of the process to make sure to reserve the boat for us and work around all of our requests. We were a group of 10 people, the boat is actually big and very comfortable, luxury, well maintained and of course super clean. We had a great communication with the whole team and everyone was very helpful. We would like to thank the owner and the rest of the team for all of their help. It was so kind of the owner to bring us a bottle of champagne when he found out that was also my wife’s birthday. We highly recommend it. See you next summer :)
