Click&Boat 2023 We rented a boat in Solenzara using the Click&Boat app. The booking was very easy, the price a bit overpriced, but we are happy to accept that for good service. At the port in the rental company's office at 9:00 a.m. we were greeted in a very nice and friendly manner. Unfortunately, several attempts with different Mastercards to deposit the €5,000 deposit did not work. We have been using the cards all over the world for a long time and have never had any problems with them. We then offered to cancel the booking and come back another time. The office then kindly offered us the option of depositing an ID card. Although we don't like traveling without ID, we optimistically agreed to this. The boat was rented for departure at 9:30 a.m. and due to a delivery delay we left the harbor at 10:15 a.m. OK. You can put up with a little waiting time here and there when you're on vacation. It was pointed out that we had to be back on time at 5:30 p.m., otherwise additional costs would be incurred by contract (50€/h). OK, everything was fine. The introduction to the boat by Patrick in the harbor was tip top. Now the weather didn't go as predicted and it was very windy on the sea and in the bays. When we anchored, the wind caused us to drift a little and then our anchor unfortunately got stuck on a rock. After a while we were able to free the anchor at a depth of 5m by diving, but then we returned to the harbor a little early at around 2:30 p.m. due to the wind and handed the boat over there. Now some very unpleasant scenes followed. Because when I went to pick up my ID card at 4 p.m., as the office only reopened then, I was told I had to pay €120 for a broken anchor. I said that we had actually taken out insurance for it via Click&Boat. However, this was not accepted and I had to endure a very aggressive discussion and an insult from the boss. My ID card was not given to me at first because it had been deposited as a deposit. I found this very unprofessional and threatening and I felt blackmailed. In the end, the owner withdrew his demand. The boat was built in 2005, the upholstery and the general condition were not very inviting. The sunshade was difficult to operate and could not be used while sailing because it was not really stable. Did not quite match the price. The boat only had ropes on the left side and only one line at the stern. So driving into ports was difficult. No GPS and no depth gauge either. The GPS and depth gauge were known when booking, but I would have liked some maps as a replacement.

Very good, nice sea trip along the coast south of Solenzara. I recommend. Thanks again to Eric, the owner, for his flexibility.
