The boat comprises a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, gas cooker, oven, and a water heater. It is connected to a comfortable saloon. The boat is also equipped with all necessary navigation equipment like GPS chart plotter in cockpit, autopilot, bow thruster. It has practical roll mainsail, sunshade in the cockpit, cockpit table, and deck shower, which makes sailing more enjoyable. The boat’s base is in ACI marina Split, from where you can easily sail to Croatia's most beautiful islands. 9 onboard Anita for a week of fabulous island discovery. Boat was very easy to handle - just a main sheet, outhaul, bow thruster and furling jib - no main sheet traveller, spinnaker/genaker etc., but great for teaching the kids that hadn’t yacht-sailed before the basics. Boat had a few small defects (one hinge on fridge was broken and the shower drain-pump switch didn’t operate). Fridge was no real problem and the team at base helped solve the shower problem quickly(via WhatsApp) with the manual pump switch. On arrival back in the base, the diver found a piece of fishing line on the propeller….hadn’t impacted the motoring performance - charged me €75 to have it removed - no way to really verify. Boat was VERY economical ~ a week with light winds meant more motoring than we’d have liked, but used only 45ltrs. 9 on a boat this size was never going to be anything but ‘cozy’, but it worked very well. The Wi-Fi was a bit patchy in places and needed a restart at base to get it working, but no-one really inconvenienced ~ plenty of 4G in the area. The ‘Charter’ worked ok for the check-in and was able to order provisions for arrival, transfers, SUPs etc., which all worked really well. The shore-crew were very competent ~ knew everything about the boats, but would have liked more of their time to be sure of waste-tank processes (again, a quick WhatsApp conversation answered the questions). We rented Anita without a skipper and had a fantastic week in the Croatian archipelago. The boat is spacious and very easy to handle. The furling genoa and mainsail made it easy to quickly adjust the sail area to the wind. Everything on board worked flawlessly and it was with sadness in our hearts that we returned her after the rental period ended. Communication with the owner, Filip, also worked very well and the charming girls at the reception at Orvas Yachting were also very helpful and solution-oriented. Due to flight problems, my arrival was delayed by a day, which could have been a problem since I was the skipper. However, parts of the crew arrived on time and thanks to the fact that they had their boatman's license and VHF certificate with them, they were able to check out the boat themselves, so the loss of time was minimal. The only thing I felt didn't quite match the advertisement was that the sails were definitely not changed in 2024 as stated on the website, but that didn't matter much since we weren't there to race.
