Description of Jacques's sailboat
Sailboat Dehler Dehler 34 10.4m
My boat is a 10m40 Dehler 34. It is a comfortable and efficient boat under sail. Previously in Cherbourg, Impertinent is now based in Locmiquelic near Lorient. I'm thinking of going sailing in southern Brittany from mid-April until the end of summer with my wife. We plan to receive friends or family. If we are both, we would be ready to welcome people who wish to spend a stay in navigation. However, we do not want to accommodate more than 2 people at the same time. As we will be sailing between Concarneau and La Rochelle, I cannot give a meeting place long in advance either. If you are interested, do not hesitate to contact me.

Overall rating
Jacques is experienced and competent. He likes to share his passion, no problem if you want to gain some experience in navigation. The boat is maintained with care and good taste. Thanks also to Mylène, for her great welcome. Pascale and I recommend without reservation. Thank you.
Great trip in the Gulf of Morbihan! Fast and pleasant boat to live on, very friendly hosts and good advice to make the most of each stopover!
Thank you very much to Mylène and Jacques for making us feel so welcome on their sailboat for a whole day. They kindly explained to us how the boat worked and offered to take the helm. We were then able to anchor in a cove on the island of Houat for lunch, and take the opportunity to go for a swim. We had a good laugh together. It was one of the most beautiful days and encounters of our vacation. Thanks again !
If you are discovering the world of sailing, do not hesitate to come aboard the Impertinent! I had a great week aboard the sailboat! Life on board is very pleasant, the boat is clean and well equipped. Jacques and Mylène will welcome you, you can have a great time, chatting, laughing around a varied cuisine and a small drink. You will be able to sit down and take the time to enjoy. Concerning navigation, Jacques trusted me to entrust me with the helm when I had no experience. I was able to participate in all the maneuvers alongside Mylène and thus really be part of the crew. They were able to answer all my questions to allow me to understand and learn. During the week, we were able to navigate the Morbihan coast, adapting to the weather conditions for everyone's comfort. I leave with memories in my head and recommend this experience. To set foot on the deck of the Impertinent is to embark on an adventure and not want it to stop!
We had a great week on the Impertinent. The boat is very well equipped, well maintained, comfortable and offers sporty navigation. We were very well received and savored Mylène's delicious meals. Jaques is an excellent skipper, and we appreciated that he had confidence in our abilities and allowed us to take the helm in all weather conditions, which is probably 90% of the total sailing time. Our days included between 2 and 5 hours of sailing, depending on our destination around the Gulf of Morbihan and the Bay of Quiberon. This left us plenty of time to visit and take in the beauty of the islands we were visiting. We recommend 100%.
We had a wonderful three day stay on Jacques' boat. The boat is very comfortable: we were a group of five people in addition to Jacques, and appreciated the layout of the cabins and the saloon where Jacque made us taste the appetizers and the excellent dishes he cooked. That said, we spent little time in the cabins since we were usually gathered in the cockpit, under the sails, admiring the natural wonders of the Channel Islands. A route punctuated with stops in the cities we visited on our way. A few words about Jacques, the priority on the boat who accompanied us during this trip, and who made our vacation possible: Jacques was not only a very good captain, who gave us valuable navigation advice and guided us along the journey. He is above all a very benevolent, attentive person, who constantly made sure that we lacked nothing. We were able to have fascinating discussions on the deck of the boat, to share our respective experiences, to exchange on very varied topics, always in a good mood and in a spirit of conviviality. We hope to keep in touch even after these holidays. You should know that this type of stay is suitable for both sailing lovers and novices, and that Jacques will put you at ease in any case.
Jacques a great skipper, he takes good care of his passengers. Thank you for these 3 days in England
Dear Jacques, gladly again and again. We had a very nice trip.
We had a great weekend in the company of Jacques and the sassy. The welcome and atmosphere on board are excellent. The boat is very well equipped and pleasant to the sea. We will return to it with great pleasure.
thank you to Jacques for this great cruise !! a great time together
This cruise was beyond my expectations. I got the right dose of oxygen that I expected, on a comfortable, well maintained and very reassuring boat (even when the helm breaks while crossing the Monkey!). But I also met a passionate, versatile and easy-going captain who I enjoyed teaming up with. However, be warned! You have to be well trained to follow Jacques to conquer the breathtaking views of Alderney or the no less surprising pubs of Guernsey… Push push push Jacques!
Very well. It was a first experience over a period of 3 days. We sailed confidently and safely. Very good knowledge of the Channel Islands. The good atmosphere was at the appointment. We will keep a very good memory of this stay. Thank you! Christelle and Bruno
An excellent cruise aboard the Impertinent. Thank you very much to Jacques for his advice, his explanations, the sharing of his knowledge of his region and the Anglo-Norman. Thanks also for discovering the trails of these beautiful islands.
It was our second experience with Jacques. He confirmed his skipper skills, his knowledge of currents, and his human qualities. In addition he showed us his guiding skills by a superb walk on the island of Alderney. Thank you Jacques.
An exceptional stay with Jacques, who welcomed us very warmly and made us discover the joys of navigation. The boat is super nice and there are many nice corners to discover in the area, we will come back with great pleasure! Only criticism: Jacques did not let us win tarot;)
Jacques and his team-mate Guillaume were particularly welcoming. The boat is nice in navigation and well maintained. Jacques proposed an adapted program (Cherbourg Saint Vaast). Despite difficult sea conditions, we were able to steer most of the time and participate in the maneuvers. We are therefore very satisfied and ready to renew the experience with Jacques.
Jacques takes you competently in the most beautiful places of the Channel Islands on his Delher, certainly old, but well equipped!
A great day out to discover the sailing to our children. The captain, his assistant and their boat delighted us. The cuisine worthy of home mom ;-) and the kindness of Jacques have allowed us to have a great day. To do again without hesitation!
3 days aboard the very reassuring and very sailboat of Jacques destination the island of Aurigny 4 hours from Cherbourg. It was a very pleasant sailing moment with Jacques, who is always listening to his passengers. He knows the island well and you will discover beautiful places (not to mention the British pubs ... we are in England). The boat is very comfortable, very well maintained. You will be able to get started with the steering wheel ... a real pleasure. To conclude I strongly recommend Jacques to all those who want to discover the cruise in the good mood.
We had a great weekend with two friends, we were 4 on board and the boat was very comfortable. Jacques Dehler 34 is very well maintained, upholstery redone in 2016, dynamic and reassuring. It was a pleasure to sail thanks to the advice of Jacques who regularly left us the bar. We will come back with pleasure! Good luck !
I was delighted by the 2 days spent with Jacques and his friend Bertrand. The boat is comfortable and reassuring, Jacques is sincerely welcoming. He has a lot of experience, knows the region and loves to share his passion.
Thank you Jacques for this stay. Very comfortable boat ... comfortable toilets ;-)
I left a 5/5 at all assessment stations! ... Thank you Jacques for this outing 2J "all inclusive": your kindness to us, your boat that you know well (and that you talk), techniques on which you are well informed, a body of water that you control, an organization / flexibility that suited us perfectly, and ..... the pleasure of having met / shared with your entourage :-)))) You who want to get acquainted with the sea, or consolidate your assets, I recommend you Jacques and his Dehler34 which is on a human scale and sufficiently docile to adapt to the demanding water (but very pleasant) of the Anglo-Norman: - ) Jacques can be very good teacher if you wish, or fade if you feel more autonomous ... In any case a nav 'in great confidence and a lot of fun ;-)
Take a comfortable boat that does not crack on board, meet Jacques and Guillaume, add a dose of good humor, a touch of kindness, a hint of humor and the cool learning to hoist the sails and steer. That's it, summary my 3 days of good laughs, direction Guernsey Ah, do not forget to know how to play tarot !!!! thank you both, I have trouble finding the earthlings!
Thank you Jacques for your warm welcome, your kindness and the sharing of your knowledge with others, not to mention also guillaume who did everything to make this trip unforgettable; I would do an outing without hesitation for a moment with Jacques, excellent skipper and teacher of sailing with a lot of capacity and experience. I will keep a very good memory thanks to the skipper, his teammate and all the team of click & boat to whom I wish a happy new year 2016. Djilali
