Famous thanks to their resemblance to traditional barges, the Pénichette® of the Classic range are the easiest boats without a license to manoeuvre! Fully equipped galley, forced hot air heating, raised 2/3 aft cockpit and large sunroof... all the ingredients for a successful river trip are there. The region has a 300 km license-free navigation basin on 3 rivers (Baïse, Bas Lot and Tarn) and 2 canals with very varied routes and rich in history. To the variety of landscapes and the richness of the heritage is added a solid gastronomic and wine reputation. In short, an ideal place to make the most of river tourism! Several remarkable structures can be explored from your Pénichette®, including the Agen canal bridge with its 23 arches and 549 m long. In Moissac, immerse yourself in medieval art by visiting its famous 11th century abbey. You can then leave the canal and go down the Tarn aboard your boat without a license for a beautiful nature route over 12 km. A junction allows you to reach Montauban, an essential stopover. By following the Baïse, you will wind through a particularly green and intimate region. Along the water, you will discover Gascon bastides, gentle hills and waters full of fish. Main stopover towns: Vianne, Lavardac, and Nérac stronghold of the Albret family. Boarding possible on Monday, Friday and Saturday only.
