The Dufour 455 Grand Large is a boat created for cruising, comfortable, spacious and elegant, without neglecting sailing qualities thanks signed by Umberto Felci. The layout consists of 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms and convertible dinette. The boat is equipped with every comfort on board, among which I remember the main ones: air conditioning, heating, electric generator, watermaker and electric toilets. From a sailing point of view, the boat is equipped with a furling mainsail, has a cutter rig, genoa and furling staysail on a fixed stay, and furthermore on the bowsprit we can rig the gennaker which is also furling. All winches are electric. The boat is equipped with an external table, external shower, bimini and sprayhood to make cruising comfortable.

We have a very lovely week on the boat and have visited the east coast from Sardinia dtarting from Cagliari to Cala si Fagu during 1 week with my entire family (children from 6 to 12 and my wife). Massimo is skilled at finding the best anchorages and adapts to your needs depending on the winds, waves and what we wanted with our 3 children. He knows how to remain discreet during the day, we also shared lovely moments together during dinners in the evenings with glass of wine... He is responsible and adapted well to the children. He is also passionnated by sailing boat, we appreciated his mindset to use the sail (and not the motor!) & anchor the boat where we wanted (right places and best beaches). We had a wonderful week. We highly recommend Massimo and his boat.

A very nice trip
We chartered the sailing Yatch Trifula in mid May 2024 having engaged in communication with the owners Max & Chiara a few weeks prior to the booking. This was a surprise I had arranged for my partner who had never sailed or been on a private charter before. Staying nearby we found the marina quickly by foot passing ample parking nearby. We were met at the entrance on time and Max & Chiara were very friendly throughout our trip. We found the yatch clean and tidy and all as expected. During the full day we sailed across to Mari Pintau a sheltered bay east of Cagliari where we had the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings, go for a swim and have something nice to eat and drink. The weather was good with some choppy waters as we were of course on open water out at sea. We managed to sail all the way out and back. The large open cabin was great to have as a place to rest inside for our little one. This is something we wouldn’t be able to do on a crowded excursion so it was nice to go at our leisure and just relax and be stress free. The hosts were pleasant throughout and very patient with our little boy who doesn’t like to sit still, thank you! All in all we had a fantastic day on the water and would love to do it all over again 😊. Happy sailing!
Experience on a family boat, Massimo proved to be extremely helpful from the start, putting us at ease and explaining the rules to follow clearly and concisely. A great success from all points of view, recommended.
Everything perfect, Massimo and Chiara always present for everything and for every issue, very attentive to your satisfaction. It's a shame that the wind didn't accompany us as much as we would have liked and therefore due to Aeolus we couldn't go where we wanted... but otherwise everything was perfect

La mia prima esperienza velica risale al 1986 quando a 14 anni mio padre mi fece fare un corso full immersion di 1 settimana su un grand soleil 37 con timone a barra... così mi è nata la passione per il mare e per la barca a vela. Per molti anni ho navigato lungo le coste del ponente ligure e della costa azzurra su un grand soleil 39. Ho frequentato diversi corsi di navigazione sia costiera che di altura, Capraia,veleggiando nel mar tirreno tra levante ligure isola d'Elba e la Corsica. Sono stato istruttore vela per corsi teorici e pratici per il conseguimento della patente nautica. Dal 2023 ho acquistato un imbarcazione doufour 455 con base a Cagliari per portarvi alla scoperta delle splendide coste della Sardegna e non solo.
