When we arrived on the sailboat yesterday, we were shocked. I've never taken over such a dirty boat, and I've sailed many tens of thousands of nautical miles. The first step is always a check-in to determine a boat's seaworthiness. For professionals, this check-in takes about an hour and is carried out according to a checklist similar to the one used in an airplane before takeoff. We went through all the safety-related things to check the yacht's seaworthiness before setting sail. I'd like to say one thing upfront: Your yacht is absolutely unseaworthy and should be decommissioned immediately. The points in detail: I've attached pictures of the most important items. 1. Life raft The life raft was absolutely filthy and not attached to the boat. In the event of an emergency at sea, the raft would have been lost if it had been thrown out without any connection to the ship. The raft had also expired years ago and was therefore no longer permitted. 2. Life Jackets We found two life jackets on the entire boat, even though the boat is licensed for 12 people. By law, there must be a functioning life jacket for each person on board. The problem was that both life jackets had also been deployed and were therefore not functional. 3. Life Belts Not present 4. Night Rescue Light The night rescue light was present, but not functional. 5. Seacocks The seacocks were completely unserviced and partially inoperable. 6. First Aid Kit We found a first aid kit in the starboard aft cabin. Unfortunately, it had expired years ago. 7. Fire Extinguishers There were two fire extinguishers on board. Unfortunately, these had also expired a month ago. 8. Marine Signaling Equipment The case containing the marine signaling equipment had also expired since March 2025. The distress signals alone cost the skipper a fine of at least €900. 9. Shroud cutter Not present 10. Ship's documents The documents were incomplete and partially torn. Insurance documents were missing. 11. Spare anchor Not present 12. MMSI number The MMSI number was not visible on the radio. 13. Callsign The callsign was missing. 14. Windex There was no wind indicator on the masthead. 15. Boat hook Not present 16. Mooring lines Not present 17. Barometer Not present 18. Thermometer Not present 19. Hygrometer Not present 20. Navigational equipment Not present 21. Bearing compass Not present 22. Binoculars Not present 23. Foresail The jib was very difficult to furl and retract. 24. Sailing lines All the lines were worn and very stiff to guide. None of the lines were labeled. I find it shameful that you let customers use such a boat and expose your guests to the risk of shipwreck.

The boat is very good. It sails well and has everything you need. Julian's attention was very good at all times. On a negative note, there was a misunderstanding with the Dinghy. The application specifies that it is included but once we got to the boat it wasn't there. They told us it was an extra. Finally we reached an agreement and went with Dinghy. On the Click&Boat page they should specify that it is an extra and not part of the included equipment.
