Overall rating
The boat was in very poor condition. The autopilot, speedometer, and engine tachometer were not working, the engine and deck lights were missing, two of the seven fenders were cracked, and the genoa had a torn hem. One toilet and one sink (out of two) were out of order. The ship's documents, which were available, were expired. It could be a good boat if the owner took better care of it.
Great trip for a couple of days on Erick’s boat. He’s very helpful in providing info on the boat, the sailing area around Granville is fantastic with the Isles de Chausey, and the boat is in good condition
A wonderful experience cruising to Jersey from Granville. Erick is a passionate storyteller and an excellent teacher for improving your sailing skills.
A memorable birthday on Erick's boat, an unforgettable captain. He's professional, knowledgeable, and charismatic. The trip was so beautiful that we're considering repeating themed outings: overnight stays on the boat, wellness/yoga, barbecues, etc. A big thank you from the whole family. See you soon.
It was perfect!
Thank you for your kindness Erick. I wish you full recovery
The yacht sails excellently with the new mainsail and we were able to take a wonderful trip to the Channel Islands and Brittany. Erik is a very nice skipper and gives lots of valuable tips on tides, ports and the region. He puts his heart and soul into his work and is extremely flexible when it comes to taking over the boat. Unfortunately, I have to make a few compromises, as the cleanliness on board left something to be desired and in particular the main toilet with tank was completely missing and the second toilet was difficult to empty.
Some shortcomings to be notified when taking the boat: faulty lighting, absence of a spare gas bottle, absence of glasses, dishes in the oven, faulty autopilot. However, Erick is accommodating and actively responds to requests.
Erick is a particularly friendly and accommodating rental company. He happily gives good advice and is very attentive to the smooth sailing, which is very pleasant for safe navigation. As for the boat, it is an excellent format for those looking for quiet and comfortable navigation.
We had a very good week on a pleasant boat. The problem is that we didn't have an annex engine, nor the kayak... and we didn't get any feedback before the rental about the fact that the engine was missing. A little above on the context in short, but not by the holidays, because it is not necessarily a pleasant surprise when your shoulders are loose. We do not usually want to post negative messages but several problems require us to put you on alert. There was no provision of equipment available contractually, namely: annex engine and kayak. We were not warned... No inventory, we found a boat that was not clean and not perfectly maintained with, for example, the foot of the lifelines broken (the rental company: "but that doesn't scare me"), and a rental company who tells us "I'll check the contract" for the engine but doesn't come back. The rental company arrived late and slipped away a few minutes before the port closed so that it left us little choice but to leave. He had agreed to pay us compensation but did not do so. In short, the boat is pleasant, but you could really find better, and Erik is affable, but I clearly don't recommend renting with him. We are also continuing with Click&Boat who did not try to help us after taking the commission
Thanks to Erick who is very friendly, accommodating and available. The boat, spacious and pleasant under sail, deserves a good overhaul, no doubt the fault of a long and trying season in terms of the weather. No operational autopilot in particular... This did not prevent us from having a very good stay and the value for money remains excellent.
The rental went very well. ZEF is a very pleasant cruise ship, I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again!
Very warm welcome from Erick. Erick was also very flexible because he allowed us to shift by one day, the weather announcing a gale and preventing us from going out on the initial date. He also kindly offered us to stay an extra night on board before heading back on the road. Sailing to the magnificent Chausey Islands. Thanks Eric!
Great location, great contact with Erick. The reasonable price corresponds to the condition of the boat, which remains pleasant and efficient despite its age.
Perfect welcome from Eric, cleanliness to be reviewed. Great boat!
Thank you very much to Erick for renting this 43 feet, super nav on board the boat
Thanks Eric!!
Excellent welcome, a caring owner and a very pleasant boat! To do again!
