A yacht of high quality and Yachtcharter-Friesland is proud to be able to offer this yacht for rental. The ship is 12.00 meters long, 3.70 meters wide. The ship can accommodate eight people. The 'Seagull' has three separate cabins, with a total of 6 permanent berths and is very comfortably furnished. By converting the seats next to the galley and in the saloon, 2 more spacious berths can be created. The excellent sailing characteristics, being able to steer both outside and inside, and the presence of a bow thruster, make it easy for you to direct and maneuver the boat. It makes waiting for the bridge to be built in a lock a lot easier. But that certainly also applies if you want to moor in the middle of nature or at other most beautiful mooring spots. The surprisingly spacious aft deck with its panoramic views also provides a good overview while sailing. The necessary luxury is on board, so that you can relax inside. In the front you will find 1 sleeping cabin for 2 people. In the back even 2 sleeping cabins and a separate shower and separate toilet. You will also find a fully equipped galley, a dinette and a cozy lounge sofa in the salon. Due to the double glazing, good insulation and heating with radiators, sailing is a pleasure even with the colder days. Grou is located in the heart of the province of Friesland, and is almost completely surrounded by water, making it a perfect base for many water sports enthusiasts, via the Pikmeer and the Pr. Margrietkanaal, you can sail right into the middle of beautiful nature. Experience the beautiful water landscape. Rivers, lakes, streams, canals, ponds, dredging ditches and canals. The villages in central Friesland have lost none of their charm over the centuries. Past and present go hand in hand here. Characteristic facades are silent witnesses of earlier times. Cozy terraces, original shops and modern marinas are additions from the present. It is these villages that tell a piece of the history of the region. Deposit is € 500, - and is only settled in cash. Boat owners were friendly and personable. We were warmly welcomed. The water tank was filled up before departure. Unfortunately the boat did not have the equipment as stated in the description. For example, the microwave was completely missing and there was no DVD player. At least we couldn't get the TV to work properly One of the gas hobs did not work. Cutlery is available in different denominations, so you have to improvise in this context. Overall, we found the equipment of the boat to be rather spartan. It is an older boat, with age-appropriate furnishings. Furthermore, the plastic cover on the upper control sand cannot be used when closed because the plastic windows are now milky. This hood needs to be replaced because some of the zippers are torn out.
I found the times I wanted to contact click En Boat difficult to reach by phone and do not respond correctly to questions asked. Would not recommend Click&Boat as an intermediary Geert was a good host
We felt very comfortable on board the Seagull. The boat is easy to maneuver, even for beginners like us, and is fully equipped. We will be back!
