We had an excellent weekend with Alain. He knew how to pass on his passion for sailing to us and made us participate in the navigation maneuvers. As an accomplished sportsman, we had very rich discussions on this subject. Thank you also for the little touches during our stay, quality on-board service. Good luck to Abondance and Alain.

We had a good weekend in our group. The reception was a little icy. Boat strongly recommended for 4 people maximum and not for eight or the night was hard and some had to sleep outside. The dining table is for a maximum of 4 people. 4 cabins and not 5 as advertised. Do not plan a barbecue. Denial of the skipper and pretext of a stop. We had to negotiate to take the direction of Port Cros. We already have sailing experience and we were a little disappointed to have to ask our desires which seemed to bother him. The inflatable mattresses are punctured. Very little participation in maneuvers. Strong feelings of genes during maneuvers. Safe stay because the skipper knows the area and the navigation rules.

Very good stay aboard Abondance. First days of January on the water with the sun, that's all we hoped for! Alain was able to offer us the ideal program: sailing around the islands until sunset and stopovers in the evening on Porquerolles, a dream this season. Very nice drink ashore then back on board with a memorable dinner of fresh red mullet in the morning. And as good Bretons we were even able to swim from the boat! Very nice family experience with Alain and Dede, super nice people, for a reasonable budget, try the formula with meals, simple but effective.

Alain is a very nice person and we had a lot of fun spending the day with him. He is listening to his customers from all points of view, an unforgettable day for us and the children!

Abondance is an old boat, with a history and volumes that are no longer found on modern boats. It's a big boat, long, and heavy. It gives it stability at sea very reassuring even in bad weather, and a maneuverability limited to the port that requires the habit especially when the weather gets involved. The period equipment also requires special care in the common maneuvers. If you are used to recent ships maintained by an army of Swiss technicians, this is not the boat for you. On the other hand if you want to live an exit otherwise on a big and very nice boat, by leaving aside the electronic comfort, then go on Abondance. If you leave with Alain as Skipper, you do not have to worry about the particularities of the boat and you can darken with your eyes closed. If you take the bare boat, take into account that it is a particular ship. We were feasted anyway.   Alain is nice, pro and knows his boat perfectly, he will give you his tips when getting started. The weather forced us to leave Porquerolles and to return there, and thus to join the continent by shuttle. It is to be taken into account with abundance, and it is also part of the vagaries of the pleasure and the weather. Thank you to Alain and Abondance for this nice weekend.

Alain warned me the evening before (9 p.m.) of a change of port and date for the start of the rental... Following an engine breakdown, we had to advance money to restore gasoline. Alain has still not reimbursed us. Nor the shortened three-day rental... No dinghy engine contrary to the announcement. But it doesn't stop there because Alain submitted false invoices and a false damage report to collect the deposit from me. Alain seems very friendly and will say "yes yes" to everything but he does not keep his commitments. Boat valid for cabotage but do not intend to sail. Beyond force 4 it becomes dangerous and the 9 vests are not on board...

To avoid absolutely !!!! We had agreed with the owner of an appointment in front of the harbor master of Hyères on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:30. I arrived with my crew around 10 o'clock. A person posing as "Sam" greeted me on board, telling me that the owner of the boat could not move. The handling of the boat was very fast, Sam being in a hurry. He obviously did not know the boat. I could see that there was no tracer or autopilot contrary to what was stated in the description of the ship. I also noticed that the schedule engine was not working. Sam told me that if I went through Porquerolles (home port of the boat), he would find me a replacement engine. We filled up the fuel tank together, and then Sam, who was accompanied by his 10-year-old son, left in a hurry. We left the port towards Porquerolles at the end of the morning, the place in front of the captaincy to be released. Arrived at anchor, I could see that the windlass was strongly seized and it took a while to finally get to anchor. It is stated in the announcement concerning this boat that it was the subject of a complete refit in 2013 but I admit that I do not know what was redone that year. This boat accuses her age and appears unreliable. Its maintenance leaves something to be desired and it is cluttered with heterogeneous objects in all the interior storage spaces leaving little room for the personal belongings of the crew. The ship's documents are not up to date and the insurance certificate I was given was not. I discovered that some of the survival equipment was out of date since the year 2000 ... Given all these elements, we reduced our nautical ambitions to cabotage around the island of Porquerolles. At the end of the stay, the restitution was planned in the port of Hyères in which we arrived on Friday night and we learned that we could not spend the night there considering the nautical show which took place there. In the meantime I received a message from Sam asking me to return to Porquerolles (home port of the boat) and that the cost of return on the continent by the shuttle would be borne by the owner. We turned back to Porquerolles. The next morning we met Alain CANO, the owner of the boat and proceeded to the return of the keys. He pledged to return to me the deposit check I had established that he did not have on him at that time. Regarding the absence of an autopilot and the failure of the engine schedule, he told me that this was the responsibility of the professional skipper "Sam" he had called and appeared surprised when I told him the brevity of the grip of the boat. He told me that he would compensate me for these various setbacks and apologized (I am still waiting for his proposal for compensation and the return of my deposit check). He took charge, at my request, tickets back on the continent. To this day and despite several raises the owner of the boat did not return to me the check of deposit of a sum of 1600 € which I had established. I finally opposed this check. This rental is to be avoided absolutely. I have been sailing for over forty years, I have never seen this kind of behavior.

Unfortunately we do not sail but the boat was comfortable and we had a good week!

Boat that age but perfect for those who love the atmosphere of sailboats with their vernies.Ideal woodwork for a family cruise. Alain is a friendly skipper, very attentive to his passengers, discreet, and very attentive to safety. Unforeseen circumstances have forced us to change our program at the last moment, Alain has adapted with kindness to our obligations.

Stay on top with friends ...

We had a great time on the boat with Alain. The boat is really atypical compared to boats of today, it is ultra stable in the breeze, it rolls slightly, it corresponds very well to a quiet coastal navigation, but it requires a little time in hand since taking of its weight and size. The outdated equipment is offset by a very complete equipment great service and a real attention to Alain that everything goes well. Thank you to Alain. Pierre Antoine

Boat rented principle 8.12 to 08.23.2014. I received an SMS from the 09/08 Alain telling me a damage to the engine (injection), and promising me the news the next morning. So I had to contact Click and Boat (which were very responsive) to regulate the cancellation and refund of the rent. A particular ship is a difficult to repair damage, it is understandable and I accept it fully, but the owner did not even deign to explain on the phone giving clear indications of unavailability, I find this totally unacceptable.

Thank you to Alain for his availability, his sense of service and well-being !!! We spent a great week on the boat and two wonderful days in your company as skipper for us to visit the stunning scenery. Bertrand
