Hello, We invite you to come and discover the Var coast and its islands of Porquerolles, Port Cros, and more safely and comfortably by co-sailing (the skipper is already on board ?), on a private boat just for you. Cozy!!! Brigitte, who has thought of the relaxation often sought by a mother (and/or a partner), will take care of the cooking, meal preparation, and all onboard housekeeping (from pre-provisioning—no time wasted—to washing up...). The sailboat is a Sun Odyssey 47 CC (limited series of 12 units - 14.5 meters with a Central Cockpit). It's a robust, very well-equipped boat (refitted in 2022, 23, and 24) that sails quickly and very comfortably (13 tons). The central cockpit is really large and doesn't get in the way of maneuvering. It is sheltered by a large awning. A central cockpit also ensures the greatest comfort while sailing because you are at the center of gravity of the sailboat (much less tossed about...), elevated and protected on all four sides (the little ones are well sheltered :-). Maneuvering a sailboat is a skill that is learned "relatively" easily - If you wish, you will quickly have the boat in hand under our full responsibility (no worries) - You can become ready for a future solo charter (some have been there and are now skippering their own boats!). I can also take care of this position entirely if you wish... We love to offer our guests a quality, pleasant, safe, and comfortable boating experience. Also, we will provide you with the front of the boat, namely, the double cabin (one couple) and a side cabin (one or two adults or two or three children) as well as a dedicated bathroom with shower/WC. We reserve the back of the sailboat (with our bathroom), which we share with our sleeping cat, Dafco. This significantly reduces the overcrowding that can be unusual on a boat. We would therefore be delighted to welcome a small family (maximum 3 children) or one or two childless couples to share a sailing experience, gliding silently across the water, swimming and playing in the coves, and daydreaming at night in the magical moorings (at anchor) of this stretch of the Var coast (or beyond). The boat also features all the comfort and safety features a sailboat of this length can offer (self-sufficiency, a large teak cockpit table for dining for 7 or 8 people, fore and aft sundecks, a spacious deck, rigid stainless steel tubing exterior handrails, safety nets for children in the aft lifelines, and of course, hot water, a fully equipped galley, a generator, electric furling systems for the genoa and mainsail (Triradial Mylar for those in the know), AIS, radar, beacons, and obviously complete offshore safety equipment, etc. Depending on your stay and your group (ages, number), you should expect: A contribution for diesel (often €0 if there's a little wind) - otherwise 5l/h. A contribution for meals: sharing meals together - priced like at home because they are at the same price as purchasing food - A contribution for overnight stays and life on board. Access to all water sports is free (paddleboarding, canoeing, snorkeling…) Just a little clarification! ...there is no ashtray inside the sailboat. Let's get in touch to discuss your project…

Michel and Brigitte are very nice and welcoming. We had a beautiful 2 days on the water in and around Port Cros and Porquerolles. The boat is spacious, and there was ample room in the cockpit for the five of us (2 crew and 3 quests). Unfortunately, one of our party had a bad case of "mal de mer". Michel was very solicitous and even though it was after dark, he moved the boat to a new anchor buoy in a calmer area to get her some relief. It was very kind of him, and not all that easy in the dark. I would recommend Michel and Brigitte, and their boat, without hesitation

We spent 2 fabulous days aboard Ulysse with Brigitte and Michel. Our hosts went to great lengths to offer us a real timeless break. They welcomed us like friends and shared their passion for sailing and sea adventure with us. As a couple, we took advantage of a 2-day + 1-night getaway on board. All the comfort is there despite the crowding, we took advantage of our berth area and private bathroom. Thanks to Brigitte for all the stewardship and the preparation of the simple but effective lunches. And to Michel who let us enjoy a dinner in Porquerolles before coming back to pick us up late in the evening. We were able to take the helm and take part in the manoeuvres, swim and snorkel, relax...and share some really nice moments with this generous and attentive couple. Departure in the morning under a cooling wind, passage of the well-formed harbor of the pradeau under sea in complete safety. Anchorage in the shelter of the island of Langoustier, swimming with masks and snorkels, paddle for relaxation. Superb 5-day stay spent aboard Ulysse! Brigitte and Michel were extras and we were very caring. Their concern for the comfort and safety of their guests is permanent, so we sailed in complete serenity with our two children aged 7 and 4. Our eldest daughter was able to take the helm alone (under the attentive and educational gaze of Michel) and it will remain a great memory for her! We already knew the navigation area but it remains extraordinary: from the beaches of Bormes to the coves and the port of Port-Cros, without forgetting the magnificent beaches of Porquerolles. Ulysse is a very comfortable boat and its interior layout makes it possible to feel no promiscuity. Very pleasant at anchor, it is also very safe at sea. The moments of sharing with Michel and Brigitte were all very very nice and we recommend 100!

Our 9-person sailing team was warmly welcomed by Michel and Brigitte on a wonderful sailing day and familiarized with the sporty sailing yacht. With strong 8 winds and undulating swell, Michel guided us with a confident smile through the foaming sea of waves around the Porquerolles Island. In the tranquil slipstream of the island, the anchor was dropped for a refreshing bath, for diving into the azure-blue crystal-clear depth of the sheltered bay and for eating together on the boat with homemade squid salad, pate, cheese, wine and fresh fruit, which we enjoyed with Michel and Brigitte shared. On the way back, the taut wind clenched the sails of the yacht and blew the salty sea around our ears. But Michel led us safely and smiling back to the coast, where we had a lot of fun on the boat of our very friendly hosts until the romantic sunset. At any time again and with an unreserved recommendation! Merci beaucoup, Michel et Brigitte ...!

Two days of real happiness on the Ulysse sailboat with Brigitte, Michel and Dafco, in the anchorages of Porquerolles and Port Cros. It was a first discovery for the girls (6 and 13 years old), and they want more ... All the elements were there. The sailboat is very comfortable with its central cockpit in particular. We spent two wonderful days with Brigitte and Michel (and Dafco!), With our 3 year old twins and our 10 year old niece. Everything was perfect and beyond our expectations. Brigitte and Michel have done everything to make us feel comfortable when boarding. We are (were) novices in sailing, and Michel let us participate greatly in the maneuvers. They are very pedagogical, both with children and adults. Brigitte loves children too. We learned a lot from them in just 2 days, and we loved listening to their stories of sea adventures. Stages de voile étant jeunes nous avons ensuite acquis plusieurs voiliers successivement pour vivre depuis 40 ans (2 mois par an) de voile sur le bassin mediterraneen. Corse, Sardaigne, Italie, Croatie, Tunisie, Baleares, Espagne. Dans la voile c’est la rupture avec un quotidien stressant que nous recherchons. Les seules contraintes sont les conditions météo. Plus de montre, plus d’agenda, plus de liens qui étranglent ! Les rencontres sont vraies car sans enjeux. Le dépaysement est total déjà lorsque le bateau se dandine au mouillage. Le voilier, par sa simplicité engage aux rêveries et aux rêves. On se sent tout petit mais on se sent fort. Pour naviguer sans risque il ne faut pas être téméraire, ne pas vouloir montrer. Rester humble devant la mer et le vent et ne pas regarder sa montre. Nous ne sommes pas pressés. Nous ne devons jamais nous engager sous prétexte d’etre attendus.... Notre projet ? Se faire bercer sur notre machine à rêver... encore longtemps !
