Hello everyone, I invite you to join me for an introductory sailing course on my Dufour 350 Grand Large. I am a certified sailing instructor and will guide you throughout your sailing experience. The departure port is La Rochelle. The sailboat is in excellent condition, very comfortable, and very bright! It is fully equipped with everything you need to explore the region. With its three double cabins, it can accommodate six people. Based in La Rochelle at the Port des Minimes. Book a sailing trip: - A day trip through the Pertuis Breton straits towards Île de Ré, Île d'Oléron, a picnic anchorage off Île d'Aix, and a tour around Fort Boyard! - For several days, heading towards Southern Brittany: Les Sables d'Olonne, Île d'Yeu, Île de Noirmoutier, Belle-Île-en-Mer, La Trinité, the Gulf of Morbihan, Île de Groix, the Glénan Islands... Onboard equipment: - GPS, radar, fixed and handheld VHF radios - Tridata, autopilot, anemometer - Electric windlass - Furling mainsail and genoa - Volvo D30 inboard engine - 1.90m draft - Three double cabins and one head - Water heater and indoor and outdoor showers - Oven, cooktop, and refrigerator. Manuel is very friendly but was very calm that day, just like the wind. The boat is beautiful and clean. We were able to try sailing a bit on our own, sailing as a couple. Since we had almost no wind, Manu showed us how to make progress anyway. Afterward, we stopped at a buoy for a picnic. It was a beautiful day and a great experience. Thank you so much, Manu.
We were able to sail for two days in La Rochelle with Manuel. We really appreciated the tips we shared during the co-sailing. Manuel has sailing experience and is very good at handling his boat. We were also able to sail to the Ile de Ré bridge and the commercial port (a fairly industrial coastline), and the next day to Fort Boyard (a very pretty coastline and islands).
Manuel sailed us very well despite the light wind, which was a shame. If we were to do another trip, we would definitely call on Manuel.
Everything was excellent, very clean. Manuel is a wonderful person who gave me an unforgettable time with my fiancée. Punctual, excellent communication, 10/10, 100% recommended.
