Great boat if you like the real sporty sailing experience! Good communication and detailed instructions. Might rent it again
Great boat, thanks Philippe!
We had a great stay. Thanks for everything, Philippe!
The sailboat is pleasant and easy to sail. The description is true to reality.
Very good experience aboard the Grand René. Great boat, very seaworthy, and fast, easy to maneuver with a reduced crew. We will come back to sail aboard it with pleasure!
A good little boat, easy to handle and fast! For 2 people
Lots of fun sailing on the Grand René. The boat is easy to handle and handles very well. Furling genoa and reefing in the main, we were able to cross a few small squalls (17-23 knots) in complete safety. The berth is great!
A very nice week of sailing on this sporty boat but easy to maneuver with a short crew. Thanks to Philippe for his availability and to Bernard for his kindness and help with handling. See you soon, no doubt!
An excellent cruise on Grand René. Relaxed, friendly and quality welcome. Very good sailboat, which once the sails have been adapted to the wind, works very well, glides over the waves, very pleasant helm. Sails in good condition, remarkably flat (even the partly furled jib). Efficient engine you can count on. However, do not consider this Django 75, although twin keel, as a grounding boat.
Apart from a little problem connecting the 12 V socket, everything was perfect 6 days of good weather allowed us to enjoy an excellent boat, Philippe was there to listen to us...we want to come back...
After a good grip and good advice given by a friend of Philippe, we had a very good week of navigation. The boat is well equipped, easy to navigate and a good walker in light airs. We will be happy to come back to sail in the Pertuis Charentais!
Second year of charter and always a pleasure to sail on the "grand rené". Very maneuverable boat at sea and in port, and perfect for a few days between the islands.
Boat that I already knew for having rented it 3 years ago. So no bad surprises, it is maintained, and remains a bit "sporty". Its owner Philippe is very caring for his customers and will be able to support you by phone if you need additional information.
Pleasant boat, and owner very available.
The Django 750 is a good sailboat that works well even upwind. We spent 10 pleasant days at 4 between the island of Yeu and the Pertuis Rochelais, necessarily the comfort aboard a 7.5m boat was basic, but it is doable. The boat is equipped with an outboard coupled to the helm, so it is very maneuverable in ports, it sails from 5 knots of real wind and we only used the engine to get in/out of ports . It's a light boat so all the maneuvers are easy, even for a woman or a teenager. The electronics installation is a little complicated but following the owner's written start-up instructions to the letter, it works.
Great rental. The boat is easily manoeuvrable. Fast under sail and well motorized for maneuvers in port. The on-board equipment is perfect. The handover briefing is complete. And the welcome and advice were also warm and impeccable. Thank you and see you next. Bertrand
Very good experience on this boat Philippe and Bernard (who welcomed me in La Rochelle) are friendly, accommodating and very cordial people. The sailboat is very seaworthy, easy to handle and well placed in the port. The only downside concerns the navigation instruments that I had trouble getting to grips with and making work. Much too sophisticated for me and probably a little too capricious. In short, despite everything, a sailboat to be recommended without firing a shot. Morgan PS: Sailboat small but which takes carefree 4 friends in ballad (no worries during the day, a little tight at night...)
Super nice boat, responsive and easy to handle, ideal for the sailing area. Just a desire is to start again! Thank you for the rental and see you next time!
Very good boat in all respects consistent with the description, we had a great weekend!
Second time that I rent with Philippe, and it is always as much a pleasure. The boat is really great, responsive and fun to sail. Philippe is very responsive and accommodating! I highly recommend :)
A pleasant week on board with a classic sailing program around La Rochelle (Ars en Ré / St Denis d'Oleron and Ile d'Aix). We appreciated the maneuverability of the boat in port maneuvers and its good behavior under sail. A downside for the sounder problem when the engine is running that Philippe is trying to resolve.
Marine boat, pleasant, and well maintained. Philippe is very available, and good advice, throughout the duration of the rental. I recommend.
Very nice boat, good walker and well equipped. Philippe and Bernard were very available and accommodating, I recommend without hesitation!
Efficient and pleasant boat, very well equipped, allows you to navigate in complete safety. Super welcome and explanations, good reactivity during a small technical problem.
We were very well received on the boat. Well done and easy to follow onboard instructions. A few technical details to correct, but overall a good lively and fun boat, well designed for 2 people, able to take on board 2 other people for the day. Very nice week of sailing around the islands of Ré and Oléron.
The telephone availability prior to the rental and the on-site reception are perfect. The boat runs very well and is well equipped. There were 3 of us, it's very comfortable for a few days of coastal navigation. Thanks.
Philippe is a passionate owner, and his boat reflects his interest in sailing. You will have a marine boat, fast, very well equipped and above all very well maintained, clean and without bad surprises with which you will take pleasure. Very friendly and available, I recommend Philippe and his "django" which I will gladly rent again next time.
We had an excellent stay on this very seaworthy boat. It allowed us in 2 weeks to reach the island of Houat along the Atlantic coast. We have experienced unforgettable moments on this Django, which is very well equipped for coastal navigation and which has all the comfort equipment for life on board. We can only recommend this rental, it is a boat well maintained by a passionate, serious and attentive owner. Thanks to Philipe whom we hope to see again soon.
We had a very good stay in the Pertuis d'Antioche on the Django de Pilippe. Bernard, a friend of Philippe took care of the check-in and check-out. The explanations and advice were exhaustive. The boat is very well equipped, navigation, assisted by the car driver and mapping in real time via the IPad provided, is easy. I will probably rent this boat again because it has an excellent quality / price ratio.
Exellent boat in the light weather and very sailor in time a little stronger, we were able to play on this magnificent body of water of la rochelle until 20 knots of wind. We spent two on this Django, 4 excellent days. A big thank you also for the very good reception. PS: I only put 4 stars for comfort but this is more related to the size of the boat, on a 7.5m you have to make choices and it is normal (on this boat priority to navigation).
Friendly and very accommodating owner
Perfect boat for a sporty and comfortable cab off La Rochelle.
Very good boats with all the necessary to navigate. Very good communication with philippe. Getting started with all the subtleties to know. I will do it again so much the experience has been good.
Sailboat very well optimized, in very good condition and pleasant to steer. Home extremely friendly Bernard. Thanks to Philippe and Bernard that we hope to see again soon. Pierre Alain.
We were very happy with our rental. Philippe's boat is in very good condition and efficient. In addition, it is equipped with everything needed in terms of bits, replacement hardware, tools or nautical documentations to calmly consider navigation. A boat alive and well maintained!
This boat conforms to the description made by Philippe and the previous tenants. The boat is very nice and well maintained. Philippe is very available, if necessary, from the beginning to the end of the rental. Thank you again for everything,
A great boat in excellent condition and very well equipped. It's a treat and it's very responsive. What happiness! Thanks to Bernard who welcomed us and escorted back to the station following our rental. We really had a great weekend!
Boat complete and very reassuring. Many islands to visit around. Very nice contact with the owner. A repeat without hesitation.
Superb boat and consistent with the descriptions, very warm welcome, magnificent cruise! I recommend
I rented Philippe's boat for 3 days for solo sailing. The boat perfectly matched the description of the ad and was a real pleasure for the program that I had set. The real plus is the equipment of the boat as a whole and the quality of the welcome by Bernard, a friend of Philippe, who took the time to learn and then distilled his advice on the perimeter of navigation. The least ... I'm looking for them again! A boat that I highly recommend.
A big thank you for this great stay aboard the Django. We really appreciated the very complete equipment (both for navigation and for the kitchen, for example the deck shower, the iPad and maps for modern or old-fashioned sailing). The boat was very clean (of course considering its age). And the welcome and the excellent communication with Philippe and his friend Bernard made our stay even more enjoyable. It is hoped that he will be available to re-let him next year.
Marine boat and nice in navigation. Complies with the description. It is equipped with what it takes and clearly by someone who loves to sail! Lots of little details that make the difference. Good communication with the owner, we will come back !!
Super boat owner extremely conscientious! We had a great weekend!
A nice welcome and a great boat to have fun on the water. Beautiful sailing and great sensations, to do again!
Clean and well maintained boat. Friendly and honest owner.
Everything was super great, Philippe came, was adorable, I recommend 300% !!
Thank you.
Super boat!
