Description of Luka's motorboat
Motorboat Cantieri Marea 22 150hp
Rent a Marea 22 speedboat, powered by a NEW 2024 Yamaha 150HP engine. It can accommodate a maximum of 7 people. The boat is located at Medulin Port and comes equipped with essential amenities such as life vests, an anchor, ropes, a depth meter, sunroof, shower, bluetooth radio and ample storage space. A valid boat license is necessary for self-rental, however, there's an option to hire a skipper for an additional fee (€120 for a full day, €80 for a half day). A deposit is collected on the start of the rental along with license information. Fuel expenses are calculated on the end based on consumed amount, consumption is estimated at approximately 15 liters per hour. Additionally, snorkeling gear can be rented for 5€/person, tube for 30€/day. To rent a skipper or additional services, it is necessary to mention it in advance. Please note that smoking, fishing, and dogs are prohibited aboard the vessel. On this boat wakeboard/skis are not allowed. We hired the boat for 2 days and enjoyed every second of the trip. Luka was very kind, really great host. He has explained all about the boat and places worth to see around Medulin. Luka is very helpful and fair. Communication is fast and immediate, feel free to ask him anything about the ship. At the port, he took me through the administration quickly and professionally. The boat is well equipped, he helped to tell me where it is worth going with the boat, where there are good places, or where to be careful. Luka's boat is easy to handle. An excellent program for a day with family or friends. We will go to Luka again next time, I recommend him to everyone.
It was simply fantastic. We deliberately chose this area for our boating trip because it's supposed to be very beautiful there. Luka arrived on time with a fully fueled boat and greeted us warmly. I've never sailed at sea before, only on rivers. I was nervous, but that quickly improved. Luka explained the boat to us thoroughly, and then we were ready to set off. The boat is in excellent condition (as far as I can tell) and was very easy to handle at all speeds. The buoys are easy to moor after a bit of practice. It's wonderful to see Istria from the water. We, two adults and one 11-year-old child, felt very comfortable. Of course, something like this isn't cheap, but it was and will be worth it in the future. Many thanks and best wishes to Luka. We will definitely come back again.
We chartered Luka's boat for a day. Luka gave us excellent instructions and recommended beautiful spots on the map. The boat was in good condition, so we had a great day on the Adriatic. The entire process and communication went smoothly. We would be happy to come back.
