Motorboat Jeanneau Cap Camarat 5.5 Cc 100hp
Ideal for an outing with family, friends, or as a couple! We will be delighted to welcome you and help you get acquainted with this magnificent CAP CAMARAT 5.5 Style. The boat is equipped with: - Bimini top - Sundeck - Dining table - 2 fishing rod holders - Water ski mast For our fishing friends, you will find an integrated Garmin GPS sounder with cetacean indications. You can choose to rent our boat: - Full day from 10am to 6pm (8-hour rental) - Half day from 9am to 1pm / 2pm to 6pm (4-hour rental) - Sunset from 7pm to 10pm / 8pm to 10pm (2-3 hours rental) Optional extras: - Towed buoy - Barbecue (Skipper only) - Skipper upon request Only the equipment we offer as optional extras is permitted on the rental day. Any personal equipment will be refused. The boat can accommodate up to 6 people. Free parking on site. Fuel is the responsibility of the renter. See you soon.

Overall, a very mixed experience... While the boat itself was in acceptable order, the communication with the owner(s) was confusing and a bit unsettling: Instead of as advertised Marc being the person to communicate with, at every touchpoint another person showed up or texted you. And against as advertised, these persons (apparently the brothers of the owner) spoke no English, although that was the only reason for me to choose this boat rather than other similar ones, who indicated openly that they only speak French. So all communication had to be copy-pasted to Google-Translator, making it a very cumbersome experience. And while the "brothers" seemed friendly all-in-all and replied swiftly to text messages, the check-in process felt overly rushed and against protocol the pictures of the boat at hand-over were not done together but had already been made and uploaded to a document which I was pressed to quickly sign. My own fault for not insisting on going through all myself! (That is on me)... And maybe not to surprisingly, at return I was invoiced with damages around the propeller that according to the owners had not been there before - and for which I paid dearly. Although I cannot imagine how these damages should have occurred during my rental. It was only after reading another similar experience here on this platform by another reviewed "Léo" from the same month, that I felt, I might have been scammed. Same damages for which he was also pressed to pay in the same month...? But I guess we will never know now. To the boat: While overall in ok-ish shape, some problems were there that were not advertised: - the door to the cabin was missing, so you could not close up you valuables when mooring at a port and leaving the boat. - A radio device was not available. - The Garmin navigation and depth radar seemed not calibrated and were practically unusable. Summary: 1) Rent this boat only if you are fluent in French. Do not trust that you will be able to communicate in English. 2) Double-check every little detail at handover and make your own pictures, especially of the propeller area by lifting it fully out of the water, before signing off. 3) Make sure, you do not have to leave valuables on board while mooring. 4) Bring your own navigation app (on a smartphone or iPad) with you.
This is the second time we have rented this boat. We once again had a great day on Marc and his father's Jeanneau Cap Camarat 5.5 CC. From the start, we received a very warm welcome, clear explanations, and the boat was exactly as described: well-maintained, well-equipped (sundeck, awning, etc.), comfortable and pleasant to sail. Marc and his father were attentive, available, and always gave good advice. The return trip also went very well, simple and stress-free. I highly recommend this rental for a successful sea trip with friends or family. Thanks again for this great day, see you soon!

Marc is a fantastic landlord. The boat is fantastic. Ideal for trips on the Canal du Rhône à Sète or along the Mediterranean coast. We had a great time. Communication with him and his brothers during the boat pick-up and drop-off was also excellent. So, all in all, 5☆. See you next time here in the Carmarque.

This was our first charter experience. It was a real success. Marc welcomed us very pleasantly and gave us explanations. The pontoon is very easy to access. The boat is really pleasant at sea and easy to handle. We had a great time sailing. The return trip was just as pleasant.

A disastrous experience! The boat I rented ran in fits and starts, probably due to a clear lack of maintenance. When I returned, there were two small paint chips on the propeller, and I was pressured to pay the full propeller, first at 270 euros, then finally at 160 euros. This strongly resembles a scam, especially since the people involved immediately offered payment in cash or by instant transfer. It was negligent of me not to check the identity of the person who welcomed me. But the question remains: WHO IS MARC??? We dealt with four people, none of whom introduced themselves under the first name Marc. I rented this boat out of spite, because it was one of the last available for that date and I deeply regret this decision. These people are to be avoided at all costs!!!

Excellent rental, everything went very well. Flexibility in the schedules and availability of the boat are at the rendezvous. Just the missing awning can interfere with long outings, or you will have to plan accordingly. But without a doubt we will rent the boat again!

Everything is fine! 4 stars for comfort because the lack of the awning was felt after 5-6 hours at sea! You can go there with your eyes closed, the owner is accommodating and the boat is very nice!
