Great company to rent a boat! Virginia helped me a lot with all the booking procedures. The harbour is a good startingpoint to go south or north. Plenty of great beaches to go to. The boat (Ranieri — Cayman 26 Sport Touring (2024) 250hp was in great condition. We had a great day!
Rented more than 15 times from boat websites. This is the worst. Extremely unprofessional. They don’t know how to run a business. The only good review is the skipper, that’s it. First of all you pay the same amount as any other coastal city in Europe to have the boat you need. We go there they give us two towels (which we have to use to dry ourselves and sleep on and use to rub the oil out) never saw a boat company so stingy on giving towels for clients paying a good amount. Secondly, we go to the boat, there’s no water or anything to drink at all, 0. Nothing. They don’t even let you know to bring water and stuff with you. Anywhere else, we’re offered these things. 0 service. I rented out the water scooter from them and when we finished the trip and returned to the boat rental location the lady at the front asked us where it was, as if it was our duty to return their towels (which we did), while carrying our own items and the water scooter. We said it was in the boat with the skipper and as we walked away the lady asked us again where it was in an extremely accusatory way. We politely told them to consider offering water to their clients to which the lady completely disregarded. So we’re paying and doing their business for them. 0. 0. 0 knowledge on how to run a business and treat clients. My recommendation to you, if you want to keep clients, give them a nice experience so they come back (no need to spend much money to give that experience). Hoping the owner would read this himself/herself so they could talk to their employees. Never calling again. Giving two stars just because the skipper was super nice. Boat was nice too. Just the service and effort is 0
We spent a very nice day with a very professional skipper. The whole process was smooth and well managed. We had a small communication misunderstanding with Virginia but she was reliable and handled everything on a very professional manner. Recommended if you want to spent a great day with a professional team.
Virginia was great from start to finish. She communicated everything clearly and even managed to rearrange my booking for a calmer day. The boat was lots of fun and handled well. We will be back!
We boarded the boat at 11ish and got back at 5ish. Mike, the skipper was welcoming and knowledgeable and took us to nice swimming spots. Fresh water finished before we leave for the port which was a bit disappointing. All in all, it was quiet nice boat trip.

we just had an amazing boat rental experience with Virginia! The boat was in pristine condition, and she provided excellent customer service. It was the perfect way to spend a sunny day on the water.
I was convinced by their great reviews, now I seriously question the legitimacy of the reviews. Typical tourist trap with hidden fees. I have a Canadian boating license with over 5 years of experience booking all size boats over Europe during summers, I send in advance all paperwork and license which they can verify and everything runs smoothly. I booked an 8 meter rib with Virginia for 500+ euros without a skipper. Started with the inconvenience with her being irresponsive, I could hardly get any information without having to ask the same question five times throughout the day. I also asked what paperwork do I have to bring, which she never answered. The location from where they operate is a bit shady, literally everything is done on a table under a tree. She refused to accept my Canadian license telling me it has to be Italian. She then wanted to force sell me a skipper for 200 euros. After wasting hours trying to explain to her that I am legally allowed to use my license in Europe, she’s like ok I need the original or a paper from whatever department in italy. I rented the boat for the whole day, seeing that it is already past mid day, I told her I’ll just get my refund and I’ll be on my way. She refused to issue a refund, and I was forced to get the skipper or lose the amount I have paid. She wanted to fully charge me for a whole day skipper despite it being past 1 pm. After I said I’ll report her, she colluded with her boyfriend, who calls the shots over the phone, to only charge me 150 euros. I’m pretty sure the skipper does not get the full amount. I ended up going out at 2pm, having lost already 4 hours. The skipper, Alessandro, who’s not affiliated with them and who works for multiple rental agencies, is a wonderful guy. He’s an easy 5 stars. He made this miserable experience tolerable. Virginia who has told me that goggles and music would be included. Unfortunately I only found out in the middle of the ocean when I searched the whole boat finding nothing. Upon my return at 6pm, I mentioned to Virginia that I’d appreciate if she can charge me the gas and I’d give cash to be quick because I have guests arriving and I would have to open the door for them. She rudely snapped at me while chatting with her friends telling me they’re clients. I told her that I’ll go open for my friends and will be right back, she made a whole fuss about it and started yelling, saying this is similar to leaving a restaurant unpaid, I told her I already paid you close to 700 euros, I don’t think it’s similar. I left anyways, opened for my friends and came back. I found her still chatting with her friends. When I approached to pay, she told me she’ll assist me when she’s done with her “clients”. I waited till she was done and shockingly I paid for the most expensive gas on this planet. For about 2 hours of driving I apparently consumed over 50l, which only her guy at the port can control and the total is about 130 euros. I mentioned that there were never any goggles or a music speaker on the boat. She denied that she said that it was included. After I brought up her own chat on my phone where she said that it is included, she got super irritated and said alright fine 5 euros off for each. I got so angry, I gave her a 100 euros and walked away. She started cussing and yelling. OWNER REPLY Salve buon pomeriggio,cerchiamo di fare un po’ di chiarezza e di rispondere alla sua recensione,in primis abbiamo aspettato e sollecitato più volte la sua patente nautica per accertarci che fosse idonea per la navigazione in Italia, ma non abbiamo mai ricevuto nulla,la mattina del noleggio si è presentato circa alle 11:30 anziché alle 9:30 come da prenotazione abbiamo finalmente potuto verificare la sua patente che purtroppo sì è rivelata non idonea perché in formato PDF e non originale e non internazione( SIAMO UNA SOCIATA SERIA E NON NOLEGGIAMO SENZA PATENTI IDONEE) per il fatto dello skipper mezza giornata sinceramente se venivate alle 9:30 come da noleggio sareste usciti dopo 10 minuti come del resto capita tutti i giorni con i clienti che arrivano puntuali. Avete pagato una barca senza accertarvi se la patente fosse valida o no…. E noi abbiamo tenuto la barca riservata per voi,per questo non abbiamo potuto rimborsarvi ma abbiamo cercato in ogni modo di venirvi in contro non facendovi perdere soldi e nemmeno la giornata,avete pagato voi lo skipper !!! Le maschere e la musica dovevate farvele consegnare dal ragazzo sul pontile se vi siete scordati non è colpa nostra. Per quanto riguarda il consumo avete fatto ben oltre le 2 ore di navigazione con una barca con un motore di 250 cv perciò il consumo è preciso anche perché abbiamo molte altre recensioni dove i clienti precisano proprio il fatto che a bordo c’è un indicatore digitale che conta i litri effettivi de motore Suzuki. Nonostante la vostra recensione vi invitiamo a passare a trovarci saremo lieti di mettere a disposizione una barca per voi a titolo gratuito per dimostravi che siamo una compagnia seria e ci teniamo a soddisfare i nostri clienti. Our trip started at a lovely tiny “open air office”, Virginia delivered all relevant informations. End of June the entire Maddalena archipel is closed for private boats which turned our planned trip upside down. Instruction at the boat itself was Italian only. The Ranieri Cayman 26 is a beast and endless fun to drive and was in perfect condition. There is no navigation installed and the Bord computer seems not to be connected completely, no fuel consumption (l/NM or l/h) is displayed. YachtingnewsDOTcom tested the boat, it’s from 5.7l/h at 5.3 knots up to 85l/h at 42.6 knots. We were lucky to be just a group of four but even for 8 people it should be comfortable. In the afternoon we faced a pretty rough sea, the Cayman was still really cool to handle. It was definitely worth the spend, even though the dolphins didn’t show up. Great day on a great new boat.
Had the pleasure to take the brand new Ranieri Cayman 26‘ out for a day. Great smooth ride even in somewhat rough water, plenty of (quiet) power for fun performance (would have loved to take some toys for the kids along!) … and space for a relaxed day in secluded bays! Virginia and Maurizio being very attentive and easy to communicate with. Gas charges adequate for the effort, benefit of the boat is accurate gauge for consumption.
- Communication and reception were excellent. - The security deposit was €500 higher than advertised. - Unfortunately, some screws were missing from the awning frame, so after about 30 minutes of cruising, the entire canopy collapsed due to vibrations and fell onto the deck. We then had to make an unscheduled stop and ask for tools. - They apologized for the poor condition of the awning but offered no discount or anything similar to compensate for the inconvenience. - The boat itself was great, though, and we still had a wonderful day.

Highly recommended. The boat was in good condition and surprisingly fuel-efficient (35 liters for 3 hours of mostly fast cruising and strong winds). We would definitely book it again... I would, however, recommend that the rental company order a radio for boats of this class in the future (Bluetooth speakers just aren't the same) ?
Everything was perfect. Excellent and timely communication with the owner. Skipper Valerio was competent, empathetic, and very helpful. Perhaps some information would be helpful regarding how to reach the Portisco marina, where to park, whether there was water on board, and the departure dock. We arranged this by calling the owner, but a short guide to send to guests would be very helpful and appreciated. Thanks for a wonderful day!
Everything was arranged perfectly as agreed. Unfortunately, a tube or banana boat is no longer permitted in the area. This should have been mentioned, as it was somewhat disappointing for the children. Fantastic sailing area with great beaches and snorkeling opportunities.

They left the boat without water and did not inform us that there was no refrigerator, which was listed as available, so we had to go to a port to buy water and ice. Poor service. The skipper was very friendly.
Great experience, they may say when you sail out of the harbor that it is quite shallow in the first bend to the right. Were already on the bottom 30 meters from the shore. Resulting in a propeller on my leg. For the rest, very friendly welcome and handling.

According to your website, we had paid for the boat for the day for €350, which would be reasonable, but when booking we wrote that we needed a skipper and only needed the boat for 3 hours from 5pm to 8pm. We had to pay an additional €150 for the skipper, which is normal, but it is a rip-off that we had to pay an additional €350 because it was supposedly evening. We couldn't cancel because we wouldn't have gotten the €350 we had already paid back. We also had to pay in cash because you don't take credit cards. We will never book like that again.

We had a great day at sea. The boat was clean and in perfect condition. It was super easy to maneuver. We thought the on-board shower wasn't working, but we just didn't understand that you don't have to press it (if you did, a small trickle came out of the shower head), but you turn the lever on the shower head 90 degrees in the other direction, then the water works. The only drawback was the communication before taking over. I used the "instant booking" online on a Sunday. That worked well. The booking was for the following Tuesday. The Click&Boat platform also sent me a confirmation email straight away. However, I didn't hear anything from the landlord. I called on Tuesday morning, but only got an automated message in Italian, which I unfortunately didn't understand. Then I tried sending a message, we were already on our way to the port in Porto Rotondo. I also got a reply asking me to send photos of the front and back of my boat license and ID card via WhatsApp. After that, they would tell me where to meet. I then uploaded the documents. In the meantime, we were lucky enough to get a parking space at the port. A few minutes later, we got the reply that we were not meeting at the port, but at a small pier not far from there. So everyone got back in the car and went there. Once we got to the right place, everything went relatively quickly. The instructions were quick because we couldn't discuss anything, as I didn't speak Italian and the landlord didn't speak German or English. But it worked somehow with hand signals. My tip: if no one gets in touch, be sure to contact the landlord at least the day before you rent the boat and sort out the formalities.
The formalities went smoothly. Virginia speaks very good English. The instruction on the boat was rather rudimentary, as the instructor hardly spoke any English. But this was not a problem, as the economical instrumentation is self-explanatory. The boat itself was clean and in perfect condition, both technically and visually. The 26 Ranieri can also be maneuvered backwards without any problems. Reversing in reverse is no problem in either direction. It even works with the drive tilted in shallow water. Towards the evening we had a little more wind and it became a little choppy. The boat runs very comfortably and smoothly here too. We were mostly traveling at 3500 rpm. That felt like a fairly economical cruise. Trimmed properly and in smooth water you can reach just under 20 knots. Unfortunately the propeller takes in air very easily. When cornering, the rpm went up to the limiter several times and the propulsion was gone. It also happened once when driving straight ahead normally. Then reduce the throttle until the propeller starts working again. We would have liked to rent the boat for another day, but unfortunately you are not allowed to sail to Corsica or to Orosei/Cla Luna even with a recreational seafarer's license. Overall, however, I would definitely recommend the boat and the owner. I would like to have at least a depth sounder and maybe a chart plotter next time.
Everything was great and went smoothly. Small drawback: we had registered 3 children. However, there were not enough life jackets available. The problem was solved on site, however.
