Our Dufour 460 Grand Large 5Cab Abraxan (2019) is one of our wonderful sailboats, perfectly maintained by us, she looks like a owner’s yacht, and not a charter one. With 10 berths in 5 cabins (4 double +1 bunk) and 3 heads, there is all the space and comfort needed for a wonderful vacation with family or friends. It’s part of our Comfort Line, so is a a very well equipped yacht, and on this monohull you will find a Plancha Kit composed of a BBQ and sink on the stern, that you can use for cooking outside while looking at our beautiful landscapes in Sardinia! Our Nautical Hotel equipment also offers a fully equipped kitchen, bow and stern thrust, swimming platform, teak cockpit, cockpit cushions and many more wonderful features. If your looking for relax, or for adventures in our beautiful island, our Abraxan will be ready for any type of sailing! We litterally had a sinking boat (problem from the boat itself). And the assistance from YISS was very poor only using whatsapp. We lost one full day trying to solve the problem+ another full day to go back to the harbour to fix it. As it was day 5/6 we had to stay near the harbour to go back before 4pm on the last day as it is mentioned on the contract. Conclusion we lost 3 days of sailing, we arr trying to contact the owner with absolutely no answer. There are really good at make you pay if you put paper on the toilet but when the problem is on their side nobody answering.
We encountered numerous technical problems with the boat: the freshwater pump was out for most of the week, the windlass broke down, the bow thrusters malfunctioned… These issues made certain maneuvers dangerous and clearly spoiled part of our trip. The rental company's responsiveness was questionable: A technician was only sent after one day, during our week-long rental. Telephone support sometimes required waiting several hours before getting through to someone. As a result, we had to spend far more nights in port than planned, incurring significant costs given the price of marinas in Italy at that time of year. We also had to suspend sailing several times while waiting for technical assistance, resulting in additional expenses (freshwater purchases, nights in port, etc.). Despite our real-time reports throughout the week, we were offered no compensation or goodwill gesture, which is hardly acceptable given the price paid and the inconvenience experienced. Response times for complaints after the rental were also particularly long. In short: a very disappointing experience. I absolutely do not recommend this agency. Avoid at all costs.
