We would never have wanted to find ourselves in the difficult position of having to write a negative review but, after having given the Spartivento company time to fix the inconveniences encountered and having not received any feedback despite repeated reminders, we just have to make our experience public. First of all, the check in and check out phases of the catamaran were not done in our presence, nor was there a briefing upon boarding to give information on the safety devices of the boat. On Saturday afternoon we were only received upon our arrival at the company offices just to finalize the final requested payments, where we found rude and unprofessional staff. On Saturday evening we found ourselves with the mattresses of two of the cabins, completely soaked in water and covered with cellophane to try to camouflage the damage which undoubtedly occurred when the outside of the boat was washed with the hose and the portholes open. All the external seats in both the saloon and the flybridge, as well as the sunbathing cushions in the bow, were soaked in water and very dirty, practically unusable. The entrance door to the dinette and the internal upholstery are dirty and greasy. The showers in the cabins marked by black lines of mold/dirt. Furthermore there was a bilge pump which made a lot of noise and was in operation 24 hours a day. Quite worryingly, we hope that whoever was in charge of check out (I repeat "not in our presence") reported the anomaly. In short, a vessel in very poor condition despite the Spartivento company boasting its commitment to providing the highest level of services and assistance. The numerous attempts made to contact both the Navy offices and the headquarters to report the inconveniences have always been ignored or evaded with superficial responses. A lovely holiday ruined by incompetence!

We were very satisfied with Tania's organization in check in and check out and in the availability of the assistant in the information before leaving and in the reception on the Saturday of departure (Simona). The catamaran, rented for 10 people, is actually functional for 8. The two small cabins are cramped and without outdoor ventilation (the only porthole opens into the dinette). The ice maker works poorly and we had to buy ice several times during navigation. The catamaran has many comfortable spaces for convivial moments. Overall a positive experience. As for the Amalfi coast, we consider it an enchanting place with suggestive landscapes. We have always slept in roadsteads, one more beautiful than the other. However, there are many small boats that are not very respectful of privacy and the good rules of nautical education. Sometimes it was dangerous to swim.
