The boat provided for us was a Yamaha 40HP that ran great around the Ortigia bay and up the coastline near the caves and Syracuse. It had no problems and the boat was in great condition for the price point. My only drawback would be that our boat only had a half tank of gas upon pickup. We were still able to do everything we wanted to do. You’re also able to drop your boat off mid-day and pick it up later for lunch on the island - very convenient. I recommend Massimo and would rent his boats again if I return to Ortigia!

Staff was good but boats need a lot of maintenance … had to change boats because of alarms and engine staggering… second boat also had issues….

Massimo helped with the booking and made it easy. We had a superb day and the only comment I’d make is that the boat we were given seemed a little tired and in need of some maintenance and love! 👍

My experience with this boat is unfortunately absolutely negative. I immediately understand that something is wrong: the photos in the ad are completely misleading. What I find in front of me is not a tour boat as promised, but an old fishing boat, battered and in terrible condition. On board, comfort is non-existent. The boat is very dirty. The spaces are completely different from the images: the boat appears much larger and more modern in the photos, but in reality it is small, old and decaying. The situation gets worse when, while we are at sea, the boat begins to fill with water because the plugs do not hold, probably due to poor maintenance and advanced age. As if that were not enough, there is neither a shower nor a stereo. The icing on the cake comes when, in the middle of our tour, the engine cuts out and we are stuck with no way to continue. For the price paid, I expected a minimum of quality, instead I found myself on a boat that should not be rented for a coastal trip, but perhaps at most for fishing. I strongly advise against this experience: the quality-price ratio is completely unacceptable.

Massimo and his team were very kind and clear in giving us the main navigation tips for us who are totally inexperienced. Thank you so much for your patience! Points for improvement: the cleanliness of the boat, the maintenance (the ladder has cracked welding points) and the fact that we only had a 30lt tank made us worry to the point that we spent €30 extra on petrol and put it in a container in case it was needed. At the end of the trip we evened out the cost of petrol correctly. In summary, excellent experience, recommended! It was a pleasure, see you next time!!

You pay for the reservation and once there you are told that you are the one paying for the fuel, although it was not written anywhere. On the boat they hide the fuel markers so you can't see how much you've consumed and they check it with the naked eye to drive up the price. The first time they tell you €2 per liter then the next €2.50, results they try to rip you off. They also don't give you a receipt for the price to pay for fuel, so they can easily tell you that you have emptied 20 liters when you have emptied 10. I do not recommend!

It was a great experience, the boat is very easy to drive and the staff are friendly. The only thing is that there was no shower and radio ... not so essential comforts but would have made our day even more beautiful.
