We truly enjoyed our time on this very spacious easy to sail Bavaria 51 foot sailboat. The extra space compared to a 46 is very much appreciated. This boat also has a gangway, which makes it very easy to disembark and embark. Everything was functional on the boat, aside from the rear speakers in the cabin being in bad condition. We also want to warn you, that when you do the check-in, you check everything in great detail, because they charge me for cushions that I have never seen. Maybe it is my fault maybe it isn’t, but I didn’t count the number of cushions when I checked in, and they charged me €300 for that upon checkout. Just a few things about the area, I recommend you sell along Naples towards Ichia, and stay there for a few days, as it’s super nice and marinas are very cheap (160 pn). Especially Ichia city harbor was great with all the restaurants right on your slip. We wished we stayed there few more days. I recommend doing all marinas in Ichia, visit the Poseidon Thermal Spa and take your time in this island as it’s MUCH cheaper and super authentic. Then possibly skip Capri as the docking fee was almost 500 and to get to the town you need to stand in 1 hour line to get in a cab or the fenicular, which both sucks. The marina wants EXTRA money for electricity and water, it’s just not a very good deal at all. Maybe just sail around it, or try to dock on the other side, which is technically possible but we didn’t try. Then go to Positano you have to dock on a boey, 180 then close off with Amalfi - they will dock the boat for you - 250, we really love this place most. Go to Da Gemma - I would do 2 nights next time there. Super worth the trip, one of the best vacations ever. Highly recommend!!
Claudia and Sergio were very attentive. The gomoni was a bit small as was its engine.
