I am a passionate sailor and proud owner of Aphrodite, a 1990 Jeanneau Voyage 12.50 that I take great care of to keep her in perfect condition. My adventure with Aphrodite began in beautiful Calabria, where I purchased her, then moved her to Sicily and subjected her to a major upgrade and storage process. Once the work was completed, I embarked on an extraordinary journey along the beautiful coasts of northern Sicily, sailing through some of the most fascinating locations in the Mediterranean. Afterwards, I faced the crossing to the Gulf of Poets, where Aphrodite is now moored, touching along the way all those seaside locations that deserve to be discovered and experienced. Today I regularly organize day trips, weekends and longer cruises. My favorite weekend destinations include the Cinque Terre, Lerici, Portovenere, Palmaria Island and the beautiful Portofino. With more days available, however, I sail to more distant destinations, such as Capraia, Elba Island, Corsica, northern Sardinia and the French Riviera. For me, every navigation aboard Aphrodite is a unique experience, a perfect balance between adventure, relaxation and discovery. I love sharing the pleasure of sailing and transmitting my passion for the sea to anyone who comes aboard, making sailing experience its most authentic essence.

Carmine was very helpful both before the trip with all the pre-departure information, in the morning, and on the boat with everything we needed. He warned us that the day would involve very difficult sailing and not suitable for those unfamiliar with it. He waited for us to make a decision, and then accommodated our requests regarding the trip (trying to sail in the open sea with the waves, turning back if anyone felt ill, swimming when the sun finally came out!!). He explained how a sailboat works, we learned something and had fun!! Great experience, thanks Carmine!
We spent a beautiful day on a boat with Carmine. The boat, although not very recent, proved to be functional and welcoming. Carmine was always respectful and available to our every request, helping to create a relaxed atmosphere on board. The day was clear but almost windless, and we chose to head towards the Cinque Terre. However, we would have appreciated a few more suggestions to optimize the itinerary based on the weather conditions. The best moment was in the afternoon, when we managed to open the sails: we had a lot of fun, it seemed like we were taking part in a small improvised regatta.

Sono un appassionato velista e orgoglioso proprietario di Aphrodite, un Jeanneau Voyage 12.50 del 1990 che curo con grande attenzione per mantenerla sempre in perfette condizioni. La mia avventura con Aphrodite è iniziata nella splendida Calabria, dove l’ho acquistata, per poi trasferirla in Sicilia e sottoporla a un importante processo di aggiornamento e rimessaggio. Terminati i lavori, ho intrapreso un viaggio straordinario lungo le meravigliose coste del nord della Sicilia, navigando tra alcune delle località più affascinanti del Mediterraneo. Successivamente, ho affrontato la traversata fino al Golfo dei Poeti, dove oggi Aphrodite ha la sua base di ormeggio, toccando lungo il percorso tutte quelle località marittime che meritano di essere scoperte e vissute. Oggi organizzo regolarmente uscite giornaliere, weekend e crociere più lunghe. Le mie mete preferite per i weekend includono le Cinque Terre, Lerici, Portovenere, l’Isola di Palmaria e la meravigliosa Portofino. Con più giorni a disposizione, invece, navigo verso destinazioni più distanti, come Capraia, l’Isola d’Elba, la Corsica, il nord della Sardegna e la Costa Azzurra. Per me, ogni navigazione a bordo di Aphrodite è un’esperienza unica, un perfetto equilibrio tra avventura, relax e scoperta. Amo condividere il piacere della vela e trasmettere la mia passione per il mare a chiunque salga a bordo, facendo vivere la navigazione nella sua essenza più autentica."
