Dear sailing friends, This beautiful summer of 2025 will soon be over. The long July evenings are still here, but not for much longer. August is coming, with its heat. Let's enjoy the cool breeze that the wind, refreshing as it passes over the sea, will surely delight us! But I suggest we extend our pleasure of getting together, sailing during our Indian summer, which promises to be very mild this year. How about a weekend in the peaceful coves adorned with shimmering autumn colors, around my wood-burning stove and to the sound of Maria Callas or others? How about admiring the marvelous sailboats of the Voiles de Saint Tropez from my boat? For the more daring and adventurous among you, I suggest you join me at the end of autumn and sail towards warmer lands by participating in a Transatlantic race alongside me. For those who know me, I've completed three transatlantic crossings, the last one in 2020/2021. The Trade Winds await you with me, always returning enchanted by these unique experiences in our sometimes rather tame lives! I will put all my expertise, my passion and knowledge of the sea, and the extreme reliability of Popi, my boat, at your service. So summer is coming to an end, but our dreams are still there, close by, within our reach. Fair sailing to all, Stéphane, your captain.

Our group of three had the most fabulous day out with Stéphane and his lovely boat! Despite very minimal wind he was able to take us to all the places we wanted to see with ample opportunity for glorious swims, and even got the sails up for the return trip home! He was extremely knowledgeable about the local landscape and a very relaxed and safe skipper. Couldn’t recommend him enough!!

Excusez-moi pour l’anglais … Captain Stephane is an amazing mariner. His boat is intentionally “simple” - no furlers, no lazyjacks, no bemini, no dodger. It is a beautiful, safe, and fast boat that he has sailed solo and with select clients, across the atlantic to the caribbean several times. Perhaps I can join this select group! With a flair for tying a variety of knots, some single-handed, including quickly fashioning a sunshade over the cockpit at rest, he is my idea of a highly knowledgeable mariner. He makes sailing look easy and senses the wind intuitively. He is modest and willing to teach and listen. If you are considering a brief day or more aboard with Captain Stephane, I would strongly endorse it!
We had a wonderful day with Stephane. He was very knowledgeable and kind. He showed my 9 and 7 year olds how to steer the boat. We sailed around in the bay by La Ciotat and moored up to swim. Stephane pointed out caves and gave us information about where to swim. There is also a small row dingy you can take as well. I would highly recommend Stephane and his boat to anyone looking for a day out sailing and swimming.
We are a family of 5 and we spent the day with Stèphane on his lovely sail boat. Stephanie is a very Easy going and chilled out guy. It was a very hot day so we were happy to cool off in the sea. I would recommend.

This was so much better than a standard day tour. We're far from being sailors, but Stephane made us feel welcome, and handled everything on board like a true seaman. We felt safe knowing we were in the hands of a professional. We rode in 30km winds with small whitecaps, which was exhilarating, then anchored for lunch and swimming in an azure blue calanque, then a nice sail home with the wind at our backs. A perfect day.

Two beautiful days at sea with Stéphane who was keen to answer clearly all our questions as novices and to be very discreet when we were tired. With him, safety comes first, otherwise everything is simple and easy because he remains attentive to the expectations and well-being of his passengers. On the program for us: navigation to Les Embiez, a place for swimming, walking and night anchoring... before returning with cabotage to La Ciotat. On the program another time, Cassis and the creeks without doubt... with Stéphane on his boat!

The ride was great, even if we missed the wind .. we couldn't blow hard enough on the sails to move forward :-).
