To put it simply: BRILLIANT!!! Absolutely perfect! Many thanks to the lovely, very friendly, and helpful owners, Audrey and Thomas. ?? Baila isn't a new yacht, of course. She has her own unique charm thanks to the special design with the hardtop and the galley underneath. Plenty of storage space for provisions and personal belongings, especially when there are only six people on board, leaving one cabin empty. The utility room (complete with a washing machine!) on board is invaluable. The seawater desalination system, along with the photovoltaic system, makes the boat virtually self-sufficient, making it particularly suitable for the Caribbean. The sailing performance is surprisingly good. Often averaging 8 knots of speed over ground (SOG) (!!). For a boat 15 meters long and 5 meters wide, that's truly remarkable. ... Of course, there are a few rattles here and there, and some improvisation is necessary, but if you can accept that, you'll get a unique boat. There's plenty of seating in the cockpit, and the folding table offers enough space for six people. On the foredeck, a small sundeck invites you to relax and enjoy the view (especially the starry night sky...?). This is made possible by the davits, where the dinghy is stored safely and compactly. We can only thank the owners who lovingly care for Baila. We had a great time!
