During the boat trip we sail past these beautiful country estates including the old town hall of Maarssen: Goudestein. In consultation, we can make a stop here for a visit to the Vechtstreekmuseum and a walk through the park. We also sail through the village centre of Maarssen and past Nijenrode Castle. Here we will see a special piece of UNESCO World Heritage, namely Fort Nieuwersluis. The fort was once part of the old and new Dutch Waterline. We also sail through the village centres of Loenen aan de Vecht and Vreeland. The old houses, mills and drawbridges provide a typically Dutch picture. Eddy (1951) is an experienced skipper and during his retirement he enjoys the coziness and peace on the water. Eddy is happy to take you for a day trip on the water. Enjoy the reed beds along the waterfront, the rippling water, an ice cream on the quay and the sights along the route. Are you coming?
