Overall rating
Contact with Stefan was very friendly and accommodating. The boat is a bit dated, so not everything was in perfect condition. If you can manage with limited space for 4-5 people, it's fine. I personally recommend a maximum of 3 people. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that we discussed with him. He was very positive and even announced a planned overhaul after the end of the season. Despite these issues and the somewhat less comfortable interior, we had no problems and a truly enjoyable vacation. The boat handled perfectly.
We rented the "Leander" for a weekend. Stefan is a quiet and very nice landlord. With fuel and final cleaning we paid €627 for 3 days and 2 nights. That's not a bargain. Unfortunately the toilet floor was not clean, there were still alcohol bottles from the previous owner in the sink, flowers and decorative items were still stowed away and not lovingly arranged in the boat and when the interior of the boat was being finished you could already see the first signs of disintegration (wooden paneling). It was a great holiday for us despite the bad weather, hard and thin mattress on plywood boards and smelly toilet during the trip ("closed system"). All in all we thought it was all perfectly fine.
The Leander is a beauty with lots of charm and quirks. We had a lot of fun steering and navigating.
Super friendly, uncomplicated contact and instructions. For us, a great first houseboat experience at a reasonable price. For the price of the final cleaning, I would have expected a slightly cleaner boat (dishes, fridge, bathroom). We hardly used the toilet because it was difficult to use and there was a smell from the tank. Unfortunately, there was no ladder for getting into the water and we had to have the SUP pumped up. All in all, we are happy. Great for uncomplicated adventurers!
Thank you for a wonderful weekend. The Leander is a boat with a lot of charm. It is getting on in years, also in terms of equipment. It drives well even without a bow thruster. You have to get involved with the lady, then it works. You should perhaps revise the information regarding equipment. I would say the price/performance ratio is OK. We will definitely come back. The team around the city harbor is great. Thank you
We had a great time on the boat. Communication with the landlord Stefan was very courteous and friendly. The boat was clean and functional, perfect for relaxing, sailing and leaving everyday life behind. We'll definitely be back!
Super friendly team, very uncomplicated. Very comfortable boat with lots of charm. Would go again anytime.
Pleasant owner, nice, friendly and helpful with questions.
Everything went well. Fast and uncomplicated communication.
Nice boat, not easy to maneuver without a side thruster. Steering was a bit broken, bathing ladder was too short, mattresses were a bit hard, there was no outside sun protection. Nice landlord
Very friendly and helpful landlord and very good-natured boat. With our tour, we exceeded the scope of the engine operating hours, but that wasn't a problem.
Our first boat tour ever, we are very first beginners, everything was new and exciting for us. The Pénichette was surprisingly spacious, plenty of room for 2 people, everything you need was there. The boat is not brand new, but everything is in top order and well thought out. Somehow quaint and individual. The boat itself seemed very "good-natured" to me. Stefan made sure in all areas that we can spend a carefree time on board. Before that, he answered my countless questions in a very friendly and patient manner, then showed and explained a lot on site and was very helpful the entire time and was always there for us. He was the calming influence - if something had happened, he would have helped us, would have come to us = but everything went well. Again and again he conveyed to me/us: stay calm, don't panic. The others have started too. The new investor in Lychen absolutely invites you to linger, very very nice, in a wonderful idyll - and toilet / shower pp everything new right on site. We would like to thank Stefan very much.
Thank you for the relaxing time we were allowed to enjoy on board! There is a lot of passion, commitment and dedication in the boat. We had a very caring and dedicated care direct from the owner. We wish him all the best for his future projects and everyone else who also rents this boat, always a handful of water under the keel.
