Hello everyone, This sailboat is a 1930s pleasure craft, listed as a Historical Monument since 2021. The Captain will be delighted to introduce you to classic sailing while sharing the stories of the great city of Marseille! Be warned! He's quite the talker! For a day trip, we can explore the Calanques and the Frioul archipelago, sailing as far as Cassis. For several days or even a week, we can discover the Îles du Levant. We had a very nice trip on the boat! If you like to take a trip and view the city of Marseille from a different point of view I really recommend this, our captain knew a lot of the area and took us to a nice place to swim! Overall a very good experience, and very tasty rum! ;)
Benoit was a fantastic captain. He was warm, welcoming, and quick to respond to all communications. His boat was so beautiful and filled with historic charm (it’s recognized by the French Historical Society!) His knowledge of Marseille was vast and he taught us about both the city and the sea. It’s clear that he has a love for the Mediterranean and for sailing and his enthusiasm was infectious. His boat was well equipped with everything we needed — from snorkels to wine glasses — and he treated us to Pastis, coffee, and rum to bookend the picnic we had packed. He taught us how to sail, and we ventured out to the Frioul Islands and swam in one of its beautiful calanques. Our day with Benoit and his boat was a magical and unique experience. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting Marseille looking for a special Marseillaise experience.
Beautiful wooden sailboat. Benoît is passionate about his boat & the Mediterranean. He shared his knowledge of both and lead us to some lovely places while recounting much of the history of the surrounding area & instructing us on sailing techniques. He was pleasant and generous. Particularly impressive was his expertise of the wind & the ability to use the sails with even the lightest breeze so that we could enjoy the quiet & beauty of the sail. If you have a chance to sail with Benoît on his beautiful boat, do not pass it up.
Absolute pleasure to spend the day with Benoit and Dorothee. The boat is beautiful, so much classierthan bouncing around in the back of a dinghy, there’s something wonderful about catching the wind and coasting along under the sail. Thanks again.

An excellent day with Benoît. We embarked as a group of 6 adults (no sailing experience) for a day out of Marseille. Benoît is a very good captain :) We were able to help with the maneuvers and enjoy the sun and the small coves for swimming. I recommend it 100%.

The absence of channels surprised us a little but ultimately it allowed us to make young and old responsible. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant day that will remain engraved in our memories thanks to the warm and reassuring welcome, the mastery of navigation, the patience with the children, the friendliness of Benoît. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Benoît was first able to find a solution date in order to maintain our classic sailing trip (broken propeller on his boat at the beginning of the week). The sailboat offered as a replacement was magnificent. Benoît and Gabriel introduced us to sailing and were very patient and attentive to our 4-year-old daughter. We had an excellent day under the sails.

Very nice home. Benoît knows the area and sailing very well, he is very friendly and available. We had a problem and needed to change the date and he was very understanding. We also discovered his wife who is also very friendly and who is also passionate about sailing. The boat is sublime, we were very lucky with the weather and we hope to be able to do our tour again with a little more wind...I highly recommend a tour with family or friends with these sailing and joie de vivre pros

We spent a day at sea with Benoit and Fleur. There were 5 of us and beyond the boat which is just superb, we particularly enjoyed the day, Benoit's stories and anecdotes. It's not just a trip at sea, it's well embodied by enthusiasts, like the boat and its history.
Superb outing, we were with friends for a birthday and had a great time. The sensations are pure on this magnificent boat, we would love to stay there for a few days! Benoît and Marie are very friendly, passionate and attentive to our needs. We loved participating in the maneuvers, holding the helm and listening to the rich anecdotes and historical facts that the captain and his wife had to tell us. But also enjoy a moment of calm and get lost in the reflections of the setting sun on the waves. Unforgettable experience, we recommend!
We spent an unforgettable day aboard the Briseis! we all fell under the spell of this magnificent boat (even more beautiful than in the photos!!) and its impeccable maintenance. Benoît is passionate about sailing and we had a blast listening to him share his passion with us and he put together THE perfect program for us so that we could combine swimming and sailing. The Briseis is super comfortable: there were 8 of us in total on the boat and we never had the feeling of running out of space and the feeling of freedom (and safety) while sailing is incredible. Thanks again to Benoit, our super captain, for his kindness, good humor and patience with our team of freshwater sailors!! I can't wait to do this again!!
A memorable day on the Briseis! Benoit is a calm and benevolent skipper, passionate and exciting. The boat is magnificent and it reacted perfectly to our beautiful weather conditions (wind and little swell). For people with little experience like us, it was a committed day preserving a climate of safety: very nice sensations. It makes me want to start over!

Passionné de voile depuis toujours, j'ai mon Brevet fédéral de voile et j'ai été moniteur plusieurs étés. En 2001, avec des amis, nous avons acquis une barquette marseillaise que nous avons restaurée et entretenue dans le respect de la tradition. Nous avons à cette occasion beaucoup appris des traditions et de l'histoire locale. Nous avions obtenu le classement BIP (Bateau d'intérêt Patrimonial) par la Fondation du Patrimoine Maritime et Fluvial dès 2007. Puis en 2011, ce fut la rencontre incroyable avec Briséis. Un amour fou, qui dure encore… De croisières en régates, je navigue tout au long de l'année, en rade de Marseille, dans les Calanques et lorsque c'est possible, plus largement en Méditerranée. Naviguer à bord de Briséis, c'est voyager dans l'Histoire… Depuis 2021, le bateau est classé Monument Historique.
