Explore the magic of a real sailing or kitesurfing cruise in the Cyclades Archipelago, on board Istvan's beautiful GS 51 the "Cinderella". Cinderella can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 cabins (each cabin has it's own enclosed bathroom). The skipper sleeps in the 4th (front left) cabin. Cinderella has been meticulously prepared by it's owner for a sailing programme in the Cyclades! She has a full wardrobe of sails ranging from staysail to Gennaker in order be able to sail in almost any weather conditions, from light wind days to near gale force winds. Cinderella is also completely self sufficient in energy and water due to it's large array of solar panel, a wind turbine and also a solar operated water maker. Your French skipper Istvan is a pure sailor that always adapts the sailing programme and itinerary in order to maximise sailing time rather than follow a pre-planned itinerary, motoring in a straight line. We really like to introduce our guests to the more authentic side of Greece and to those smaller, quieter islands rather than following the mass tourism flow. "Imagine yourself waking up in a little fishing port among fishermen sorting out their nets... or in one of Istvan's secret secluded coves, floating above crystal clear waters with nothing but the sound of the waves washing on the beach and the distant bells of the island goats..." In case you are kitsurfers, it is always a pleasure for us to organise kite orientated trips. Istvan is also an avid kitesurfer and he can sail you to his favourite kite spots which are only accessible by boat. Important note: This cruise is aimed at introducing travellers to the spirit of a real sailing or kitesurfing cruise in the Greek islands. A sailing cruise isn’t only focused on the practice of sailing but also to introducing people to local cultures, charming villages but also deserted islands where the wildlife is used to live peacefully and undisturbed. It is very important to respect those places and approach them as visitors and not as invaders. In order to avoid any misunderstanding, we would like to point out that “happy hour” turning into endless party nights on the boat aren’t in the spirit of this cruise. This said, you are welcome to play some nice tunes during the day and in the evenings (at a pleasant level for everyone including our fellow neighbors). But at the end of the day we like to keep a sporty spirit on board where we play hard during the days and sleep tight at night. Our rates include all the running expenses of the yacht except for your own food and drinks. So you don't need to worry about any extra hidden expense when sailing with us! A week spent with our family with our 4 children on "Cinderella", the Istvan boat ... It's hard to describe in a few words this week in "another world". So if you had to pick just one, it would be: Fabulous! Navigating the Cyclades on a sailboat is a great adventure. "Cinderella" is very comfortable, fully equipped and ultra well maintained, perfect for welcoming the 6 of us in the best conditions. A great way to discover The Cyclades, off the beaten track. But above all, what we remember first and foremost is that our adventure would not have been so successful without Istvan. Much more than a skipper, Istvan is welcoming, warm, caring, benevolent, fun and very sincere. All we could fault this week ... is that it was way too short! :-)

Istvan is a French professional skipper that was born and raised on a sailing boat and has spent all his life on the water, mainly in the southern Aegean sea where his parents used to cruise between Greece and Turkey, living permanently on their 47ft schooner. Istvan started working as a freelance skipper in Greece when he was only 17 years old. 10 years later in 2017, Istvan launched himself into the big adventure of starting his own company in Greece with his first charter boat. Based on the island of Paros, Istvan is now busy running sailing and kitesurfing cruises in the Cyclades archipelago with his beautiful sailing yacht, the "Cinderella". He lives the life of his dreams, combining his passion with his profession and sharing it with those who sail with him. Besides being an extremely talented professional sailor, Istvan can also have a cracking sense of humour, you will find out...
