Boat rental in Pointe-a-Pitre · Lagoon — 440 (2007)

The boat was as described. It's an older boat with all the essentials on board, but it lacks a bit of cleanliness. The staff was attentive and very professional.

There were 8 of us friends aboard PIA, a Lagoon 440 catamaran, for a week-long cruise around Guadeloupe in January 2025. Thomas, the SHIPSEO sales representative, was very available and responsive in handling our reservation. While waiting for our stay, we contacted him again for various questions, all of which he answered, even if we had to follow up with him at times. The boat was well equipped and comfortable. The 4 cabins had a bathroom and a toilet, which was quite appreciable. The only point to improve was the condition of the boat, which was a little below what the photos available on their website suggest. Jessica, our skipper, gave very good advice for the route and the anchorages. She was able to perfectly manage the navigation made difficult by the rough seas, strong winds and squalls that we unfortunately had to deal with during our stay. She agreed to let us participate in the maneuvers and showed formidable precision during the various dockings. We will keep an excellent memory of this stay aboard PIA, piloted by Jessica. Very good communication before, during and after the rental. The owner's advice allowed us to weather a storm at anchor without any problem. The boat is not very new but remains very functional and well equipped.
