Boat rental in Pointe-a-Pitre · Beneteau — Oceanis 343 (2004)
Description of Fabrice's sailboat
Sailboat Beneteau Oceanis 343 10.5m
Our sailboat is an ideal size for a family or friends sailing. Version owner, with its bunk of 180cms wide, offers a very pleasant comfort on board. This sailing boat of December 2004 maintained regularly, is in very good conditions, after its 10 years of navigation in the Caribbean bow. Equipped in the first category it takes you safely, visit Marie Galante, Les Saintes, or in search of pirates of the Caribbean in Dominica, or to the northern islands of Antigua, Mont Serra, Navis, St Kitts, St Martin, St Barth, etc. Depending on my availability, I will accompany you on your journey with a supplement of 50 € / day from the 4th day, and my pick up on board.

Overall rating
Fabrice is a really nice person and loves his boat.
On a passé un très bon week-end Merci
Fabrice is a great person and an accomplished sailor having him on board great.Tje boat is a little tired butFabrice keeps it in fairly good shape. The mattress and pillows should be upgraded.Fabrice is a wonderful host.At all times we felt safe and secure My wife and I would gladly recommend Fabrice and his boat
Detelina (ex Sunsail Oceanis 343) is not a fast boat; as Fabrice was happy to tell us, it is more camper van than sports car. Achieving a cruising speed of more than 6 knots is quite hard! There are several things on the boat that don't work any more (eg the 230V system, the wind indicator display) but everything you need has been fitted and is working (eg the outboard for the dinghy is old and basic, but it works just fine and starts every time; the speed log doesn't work, but you have GPS speed on the chart plotter). The boat is easy to sail with all the controls run back to the cockpit; the only time you need to go to the front of the boat is to rig a preventer, operate the anchor windlass and to get the main sail down and zipped into its stack pack. Basically an easy boat that does the job. The main cabin is plenty big enough for two - though the roof height is low there is loads of space. The heads are clean, the shower works fine (and usually has hot water several hours after only a short engine run). The boat has solar panels to keep the batteries charged (and to keep your beer cold!) If you want the latest tech on a spanking new boat with everything in "out of the builders yard" condition, then Detelina is maybe not for you; but if you want an unflashy and fairly economic sail around, she does the job just fine. And the owner? Fabrice is a cool guy, very laid back and friendly. We were late to collect the boat and he hung around for us, then gave us a load of advice about sailing in the area and how to handle the quirks of the boat. Rent with confidence.
we had a great experience, the wind was perfect.
Fabrice was an excellent skipper and a host who gave us a very warm welcome. We had a wonderful time sailing around the islands and to go off the beaten track. If you really want to experience real island life, soak in the atmosphere and relax, we would highly recommend at least a few days on the Fabrice's yacht.
We enjoyed the hospitality of Fabrice. He arranged a nice and good skipper Jack to join us at the trip in the Caribean. The yacht was well equiped although some equipement needed replacements. We were glad to sail the monohull and thanks Fabrice for the support.
Excellent welcome, briefing and advice from Fabrice. Areas for improvement: cleanliness of the kitchen area, condition of the mooring lines, operation of the depth sounder and solar energy storage system, and the watertightness of some of the portholes.
If you want to know his entire life story in 30 minutes, have all your conversations reported to him, and be criticized for every little thing you do to help him, I suggest you try sailing with Fabrice. A trip best forgotten.
Alright
Fabrice's boat is good for sailing on the islands off Guadeloupe, it is comfortable and well designed for anchoring with its rear skirt extending from the cockpit.
We sailed 13 days at Christmas as a family aboard DETELINA with our children aged 10, 7, and 5 to discover the islands of Guadeloupe (Marie-Galantes, Les Saintes, Basse-Terre...). Comfortable boat, well equipped (electric autonomy +++ (especially the fridge) thanks to the large solar panel), autopilot, GPS navigator, electric windlass... everything is there, and everything works very well! Fabrice is very available and welcoming, I highly recommend.
Very nice experience with Fabrice and his boat! Pure happiness in all cases! Thanks to Fabrice and Click&Boat!
Fabulous stay in the Caribbean Sea accompanied by our captain Fabrice. An experienced navigator, he allowed us to discover magnificent places while having a lot of fun and conviviality on board, in complete safety. The boat is comfortable and very well equipped. We are already dreaming of our next stay! Caroline & Bruno
Fabrice provided good advice and was available by phone throughout the navigation. Good constructive discussions, which allowed for peaceful navigation. The boat is quite seaworthy and well suited for navigation in the Antilles.
Fabrice is a friendly, welcoming and accommodating owner. His boat is comfortable, smooth sailing, very safe and easy to maneuver with a small crew. The interior fittings are showing their age a little but all the essential equipment is new or in perfect condition (sails, autopilot, tender, engines, plotter). Spacious aft cabin with a very good mattress, which is appreciated! Very good autonomy in water, diesel and electricity. We had an excellent week despite strong winds and rough seas, we always felt completely safe and had a lot of fun.
Fabrice accompanied us and organized a very beautiful 4-day trip around Marie Galante with very beautiful anchorages on superb beaches. The boat works well and we had a nice sail from Pointe à Pitre. Fabrice is a very nice skipper and with whom we have confidence.
A big thank you to Fabrice for his welcome and his kindness. The boat conforms to the description. Florence and Fred
Fabrice is very friendly and accommodating. The rental met my expectations.
Thank you, Fabrice, for trusting us. Thanks to your excellent advice, we were able to make the most of this holiday.
We spent a week on board without any maintenance, mechanical or other problem. Boat as described Simple and practical boat with an owner Fabrice who is available and accommodating. Good experience to repeat
Fabrice is a super accommodating owner, he finds a solution to everything. The boat is a good cruiser, very efficient across (-> 8 knots) and easily maneuverable alone if necessary. The boat is quite old, but Fabrice maintains what it takes to make it pleasant to live in and sail (eg new mainsail and new dinghy, new WC, new pilot). We were 2, but it fits comfortably for 4 people (with a huge aft cabin). I will rent it again with great pleasure ;-)
A week at the top; A top guide and new friend, A top itinerary. In short, a week always on top and à la carte, in a heavenly setting. Thank you Captain. We miss you...
Fabrice is very available and very good advice, the boat is perfect for 4/5 people, everything works well. Nothing is new, but everything works! Highly recommend, we had a great stay.
Very warm welcome and good handling with Fabrice. The boat is comfortable and allows you to sail safely, even in heavy seas.
A big thank you to Fabrice for his welcome, his advice and of course his boat which perfectly matches our needs.
Very nice home
Good welcome from Fabrice The boat is as advertised Thank you
Great welcome from Fabrice. Nice boat.
We were warmly welcomed by Fabrice, his wife and his children! The boat has already sailed well but Fabrice gives 100% to maintain it. The boat is spacious, large fridge, large bathroom, bedroom with very good mattresses. We had a good time, very windy. Thank you to Fabrice for his trust and all his good will.
Super welcome from Fabrice who left us are boats for a 12 day cruise are absent are boat is very clean despite its age but it is super well maintained is very clean we will come back with great pleasure Thomas
Fabrice's Oceanis 343 has good sails and standard basic equipment. The boat is spacious and pleasant at anchor. However, self-inflating vests and lifelines would have been appreciated in navigation. Fabrice was also very welcoming in picking us up from the airport and driving us back.
Fabrice accompanied us during these 3 magnificent days. He was very patient with his little fellows late and full of advice.
Beautiful ride on the Saintes in low season, for lovers of tranquility Thank you to Fabrice for his support and kindness
Hello. We had a very nice stay aboard Fabrice's monohull. It is a very pleasant and well maintained boat, with every comfort. Sailboat that sails very well and very fast, very pleasant to steer. Thanks to Fabrice for his welcome and his availability.
Very bad experience! Arriving the evening before, I dared to ask if we could spend the night at the dock before our scheduled departure at 9 a.m. the next day. I was asked for 100€, to which I just then replied that we would arrive the next morning. It is usual, even courteous, even commercial (given the rental amount) to allow this without additional costs. For comparison, a good 3-star hotel with associated services at the port costs €82. Bila: 48 hours before departure, I discovered by chance via Click&Boat that the rental company had canceled our reservation! A word of advice: plan B. Note to leave a comment I had to click on the stars of the review categories, but apart from the lousy welcome I was not able to evaluate the boat, unfortunately, it is undoubtedly very good.
Magnificent week-long cruise. Pointe à pitre - Les Saintes - Marie Galante - pointe à pitre. Ideal boat for 4. We sailed with our two 6 year old daughters. Excellent value. Good communication with Fabrice. Practical: bimini, semi auto reef, ... To advice !
This boat has already sailed a lot but it remains very reliable. Engine, sail and windlass nothing to complain about. No anemometer. Cruise to do again, thank you Fabrice
Good grip in the boat. Boat reassuring in navigation and little Energivore in diesel while respecting its cruising speed. Thank you Fabrice for your welcome.
Leaving Pointe-à-Pitre, Fabrice took us to Marie-Galante and then to Les Saintes for a wonderful 4-day trip to the Guadeloupe archipelago, all-inclusive. His wife Patricia had prepared some good dishes in advance but Fabrice knows how to cook so that the meals were excellent and varied, all accompanied by excellent wines and cheeses. As a first experience, in sometimes calm conditions, sometimes more agitated we could note that the Beneteau Oceanis of Fabrice is very safe and hold very well the sea. As ex-G-O club Med, the captain Tedelina has rolled his hump in his life and will have many anecdotes to tell you at anchorages. Do not hesitate to ask him to participate in the maneuvers, he will also teach you the basics of sailing. I can not ignore the fact that Fabrice kindly lent us his boat as a temporary accommodation as our trip was delayed due to bad weather. Beware of its Ti-Punch Maracuja, especially if it offers you an "upgrade"! :-) Good navigation !
Fabrice deserves without hesitation a most eulogistic opinion. His boat is very well maintained and imponderably tidy.
Fabrice is very nice. Good price / quality ratio of the boat
The owner has been listening during the rental about the inevitable technical issues on a boat a little old, and very accommodating in relation to constraints mesteo.
Very comfortable boat with remarkable headroom. Full of tricks, Fabrice's boat is very practical at anchor and really energy efficient. Fabrice is very available and generous in local navigation tips.
Rental consistent with our expectations.Bateau easy to take in hands.Bateau very reassuring to navigation.Confort inside with an excellent fridge.Thank you to Fabrice also for the reception at the Ferry and the return.
Super, very liveable boat and sailor, Fabrice is a great skipper. I recommend. Laurent
Stay very friendly with Fabrice who took us to Marie Galante a weekend with friends. Fabrice is accommodating and listening, we learn some basic navigation, his boat is functional! Thank you for this weekend!
Fabrice takes great care of his boat. He was very hospitable and gave me lots of tips for a nice getaway to the Saintes islands. Looking forward to renew the experience.
Thank you Fabrice for this nice moment on your boat and for your availability. Boat reassuring, well equipped and easy to handle.
Very marine boat. Set of sails in good condition Fabrice is concerned about his boat A flat: no winsh self-locking for the genoa halyards
Boat, well maintained, despite her age. Fabrice was welcoming, flexible. The pilot is a little light.
Very good week on Fabrice's boat. The boat is very safe even under sustained wind and sea conditions. Perfectly suited to a family.
excellent contact to recommend
Detelina is no longer young, but it is well maintained, everything works, the sails are new. Fabrice is an available host, helpful, friendly, good advice and relaxed. A rental of a value for money very interesting.
Very nice home, friendly exchanges, boat ok. Very pleasant stay
