Hello, I'm offering my friendly, fully equipped 11-meter sailboat for charter, offering excellent seaworthiness. It has 3 double cabins, 1 shower/toilet, a large saloon, and a fully equipped galley. The boat is equipped for coastal cruising and offers an excellent balance between safety, performance, and comfort, for coastal cruising along the calanques of Cassis, the islands of Marseille, or for coastal cruising around the Hyères Islands (Toulon harbor, Porquerolles, Port Cros, Île du Levant), as well as for anchoring. Departure from Toulon is possible. /!\ Minimum 1-week rental in July-August /!\ A €250 cleaning fee will be deducted from the deposit if the boat is returned dirty/untidy. The host Patrick is a great and easy going person. He explained us everything about the boat. Took almost 2 hours with us which was very helpful. The boat overall was in excellent condition. We spend a week on the boat touring the perquorolles islands. The boat sails great, we even briefly touched 7 knots. Reefing, and other sail handling was easy. If I had the chance I would easily re rent this boat perhaps next year.
Valgaba is a fantastic boat, very spacious and comfortable. The sails are in good condition, the engine is extremely reliable, the batteries are very functional, and the water heater is a real lifesaver in winter! I've rarely seen such a large selection of pots and pans on a boat; it's a real plus. The saloon is really lovely; even with six people, it doesn't feel cramped at all. The mainsheet traveler on the coachroof makes the cockpit safer while sailing. Patrick had a great time giving us the boat handover; it was very enjoyable, and he was always available to answer our questions. He gave us excellent advice on anchoring. We highly recommend it.
We had a great time on Valgaba! Well-equipped, well-appointed, comfortable and also sails well, in a heavenly setting (Porquerolles, Port-Cros, Bregancon, etc.). Patrick, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Valgaba / Patrick for this excellent weekend!
We rented the Valgaba for a week, with six people. We were delighted with our stay; the boat is super pleasant to sail, and its location in Saint Mandrier allows for a multitude of excursions, whether to the islands of Porquerolles or to the calanques. We were welcomed by Patrick, the super friendly owner. Extremely friendly, Patrick knows his boat very well and gives you plenty of tips and tricks to make the most of your stay. The boat is a few years old but remains very comfortable and easy to maneuver. We had an excellent stay aboard this boat, and Patrick is always available during the week if we have any questions. Thanks again to Patrick for his kindness and support.
