This is what puts us on top of the want-lists: The power of our OUTSTANDING OFFER comes from these 3 elements which made our service selection exclusive in Dalmatian coast region: 1.) We operate from 3 great base locations what gives us oportunity to sail different hotspots in short time/no time wasted and one-way charters with starting point choice of 3 great nautic locations: Marina Milna - Island Brac, porto Island Vis and city of Split (porto or airport) and, optionally Island HVAR (porto of Starigrad) 2.) Shorter bookings possible from 3 days on 3.) Price/Quality ballance with skillful skippers knowing best routes This is rather unique in our region. OUR SECONDARY BASE IS THE ISLAND VIS, the famous pearl among Croatian islands, the prime base is Yacht haven - Marina Milna, Island of Brac AND, optionaly, harbour of Split. On request, we can also pick you up or drop off in Split haven or even the Split Airport or Hvar (Starigrad harbour on Hvar). This means = we are right on the spot, close and in between FAMOUS islands of Croatia, costal cities, bays and beaches around Vis, Blue Cave, Green Cave, Stiniva canyon bay, city & Island of Hvar, Palmizana beach bay, Starigrad of Hvar island, Milna of island Brac, island Solta, all around at the close reach of 1-3 hours relaxed sailing from each other. This match of our locations and flexibility allows us to provide 100% efficiency of your time spent on our yacht instead losing hours and days on traveling to it from costal busy harbours in the heath of the summer season. On request, we can also provide the One-Way charters. You can easily reach our base by Jadrolinija catamaran line or ferry line from Split in less or not much more then 2 hours and be right in the center of the most wanted sea-world hot spot of Adriatic Sea, as the starting point of your journey, right there. Seeing these islands from the seaside while sailing is the best way. To complete this route as a whole, we advise 1 week charter at least, but if this not always possible for you, our experienced and professional skipper can look to make the route adjustable and so best to fit your time available within the weather conditions. Our secondary base - The famous Croatian island Vis, is also known as the recent filming site of Hollywood "Mama Mia 2" movie (Merril Streep, Pierce Brosnan), the popular pearl of Adriatic Sea. The combination of our choice of the best starting location, flexibility and the boat quality, its type, classy, robust image and craftmanschaft is the reason why our guests are coming back. These are the few reasons why we and the most of our guests like spending time at the sea on our French sailing beauty made by JEANNEAU, the famous quality sailingboat brand. ABOUT THE SKIPPER & FOOD/DRINKS on BOARD: Our skipper is friendly, well seasoned, high skilled, experienced professional, takes no risk. The safety and comfort of the crew and property is our priority. He knows where to go and when and all the best spots on our routes according to your time and weather conditions. Beside the sailing, sunning on the deck, swimming and diving, you can chill out on 2 of our cool floaties, in the dinghy byboat or in some bay and, on request, enjoy our home grown winery, local bio/eco slow procedure see & other food. Ask for more details on food & drinks on board options. You would think finding significant mould and fungus in the main cabin would be the most disappointing part of the experience… unfortunately, the owner’s response and lack of support was even worse. A real shame to have such a poorly maintained boat and such disappointing ownership operating in such a beautiful place. Based on our experience, we strongly advise against renting this boat.
Zoran, our skipper was great. He was good with the kids and planned the route according to our interest. The age of the boat did not worry us: most of our boats have been older. However, it is a matter of maintenance: all the instruments (wind, speed, etc) was broken (depth was only one working). The ropes fulfilled their purpose but there were worn. The madrassers in the bunks where very hard. If you are interested in seeing as much of the islands as possible, boarding on Vis is good. It did however take us almost one day to get there (depending on your flight times) so if you want to sail you might rather start in split ( but then you might also choose a boat with working instruments). To conclude: if you rent without a skipper you should choose another boat but if you need a skipper and this boat will get you Zoran It is a strong recommendation that you take it. Owner's reply: Dear Lisa, thank you for your visit and information assistance on electric cable contact error suplying power to the Wind/Speed indicator instrument so that we could have a look to it at our service station. The previous guests throwed dinghy byboat on that cable apparently so that indicator could not work properly and lost power contact. That can happen always and we are glad to hear about it from the experienced sailing guests/boat owners like yourself. Always good to have them on board sailing with us. The maintenance is our priority and we a glad that your cruise was completed successfully too. However, sometimes little things fall out during the cruise and we are glad to hear about from the experienced sailing guests seeing details like this so we know what needs to be done at the service station in between our cruises when enough time for it in between 2 trips. The rest we do in the Winter times. As there are also other instruments on board that worked properly during your trip giving the same information like speed and wind information such as Naviconics GPS App that our captain uses all the time on his phone providing all navigation information as well, you could sail on enjoying seeing all the places on the route and complete your trip succesfully as it was. We are sorry that our new matrasses you found a bit hard to lay on. Others like it as providing a good support for the body and back of the people sleeping on it calm especially when there are sea waves. Kind Regards Dodo
We had an amazing vacation on Dodo’s sailboat, Jelena. It was perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed. Booking was simple and all our questions were answered promptly. Our captain was wonderful and helped us plan the route and made suggestions for restaurants and activities in each town. It was a super laid back vacation, just what we were looking for.
Very nice & solid classic sailing yacht, vintage and well known Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40 model, made at the peak of the production time period of Jeanneau, before merging with less sophisticated Bennetau. This Jeanneau sailing yacht we rented is very strong & ellegant, well maintained. Sails gently and well while very comfortable for all crew. Enjoying sailing experience. They don't make them like this anymore in economy class category as most common category in charters. That is the reason why the owners keep this ellegant classic sailing yacht. It fits in this awesome South Adriatic area, best way to see a bit of Croatian famous coast and itinerary around the islands chosen by the owners and our captain-professional skipper was a great choice. Very cool boat & friendly, skilled hosts. I will be back!
Please Find the Owners reply below. The boat itself was fine — a bit old and worn but functional — and our skipper Jole was excellent! He knew the area inside out and kept a fun, resourceful attitude the entire trip. We felt completely safe in his hands, and thanks to him and the beauty of the sailing grounds we ended up enjoying our time. However, the experience leading up to the holiday was extremely frustrating and really cast a shadow over it. From the start, communication with Dodo was difficult. I had many questions before booking (which seems reasonable when committing several thousand euros), but instead of clear answers I was pressured to “book quickly before it’s gone.” That created unnecessary stress. Over the following months, Dodo often refused to deal with me directly, preferring to complain about me to others — despite the fact that I was the paying customer handling the booking. Whenever I asked about itinerary, payments, or logistics, the tone was defensive, dismissive, and condescending, as if my questions were unreasonable. Key information was consistently delayed or contradicted (for example, we were promised the skipper’s contact three days in advance but only received it on the very day of boarding). Discussions about marinas, anchoring, or costs were equally frustrating: everything seemed to come with an extra cash charge, and our input was treated as if we were naïve or uninformed. The attitude throughout was always: pay first, talk later. In person, Dodo was polite enough, but I can’t ignore how exhausting and unprofessional the whole lead-up was. If you’re happy to hand over full control and not ask many questions, perhaps it won’t matter. But if you expect transparency, collaboration, or simply to be treated as a respected customer, I would advise caution. OWNERS REPLY Dear Lucia, thank you for your visit and comments here after joyful and completed trip with us, reffering mainly to our communication prior the booking. I agree, we had some problems to pass our answers to you on your long repeated questions-list at that time not understanding standard basics how the sailing yacht skippered charter works, what is included, what not. So, for clearance here, like then, we repeat: it is like renting a car with the driver - you pay that here and all the rest (parking/docking, harbour fees, food, drinks, fuel refill, etc.) guests pay on the way extra, so not included, depends where they want to go, do what, the routes depend on the weather conditions based on daily weather conditions update not known to much time ahead, so therefore we deal with those topics on the check in or few days ahead, not months. Skipper decides that, in accordance with guests, their wishlist coordinated with their available time on board, weather, distances, our speed, sailing hours,... etc. All those details we deal with at the check in, or few days ahead when the weather update known to us, not 2 months ahead as you were pushing for. We tried to get this explained to you all the time you were texting repeated questions-list regardless our same answers on those topics sent to you here on the platform chat and emails later on. You booked shorter trip in high season, so to be able to give you those dates still, we specified that the reservation needs to be done on time not to lose those popular dates many wanted and deal with details mentioned - later. As the trip itself ended to be great in full length, you had great weather, skipper, you refer mainly here to this prior communication part. Considering that, we are happy the trip ended to be successful and those prior communication problems I asume, might be because of the different languages used: Spanish, English.... probably caused those communication problems ahead as once you checked in, there were no problems at all as from your review on this part, not many comments, we are glad it turned alright. Despite that pore prior communication, we are happy to the fact that the trip itself turned to be joyful succes. We regret that you did not write more about that, trip itself as that is the very business here we are trying to do on professional level, every new tour. Kind regards, the owners.
The captain Ivan was superior. He took extreme care of the 4 of us. He cooked a wonderful pasta meal. Very professional.
Great time with skipper Tomo, it was best time in Croatia!
