Unfortunately the boat had engine problems from the start. The cabin smelled heavily of petrol and then the engine didn’t sound or feel good. Since my husband is well educated in boating (has a captain degree) all the excuses Mirko said were really bad. If Mirko would just had said for us to come back with the boat and get some kind of refund it would be great. Instead he wanted extra 50 euros before we even drove off for petrol, told us not to go to far due to heavy waves but we do believe he knew the boat was not ok. When we texted him about the issue he came with excuses that we might me to heavy?!! ( 2 adults and two kids = 220 kg in total😂 And then he said that the cabin needs to smell petrol?!! Well enough said, we didn’t want it to ruin our trip but we said we would try to make it to the port and stay in the boat from there so kids could at least swim Since o understood early we would not get any refound. His dad came and tried to drive it but even he could hear and feel that something was really wrong with the engine. To be honest, things can go bad when you rent a boat but I have to say, I can’t recommend since Mirko did not take his responsibility. If he did ( which would be that he told us to come back and he would refund us a bit of the sum ) then the story would be different. So an expensive experience without that nice boating experience. Our Croatian rental was instead totally amazing. Here we had to smell heavy petrol ⛽️ and swim mostly in the port.
