Absolutely phenomenal hosts and experience! So accommodating and kind, it was such a pleasure to meet you. The boat was excellent, very clean and comfortable and in great condition. Sailing in the Mediterranean is a joy. In September 2018 we had the excellent fortune of cruising on a sloop rented from Antonio of Salerno. I was with my wife, a classical ballerina, and a friend with long sailing experience. There were three of us in a 39-foot sloop with three cabins and two heads; a real luxury. The boat was in excellent condition, with every comfort, perfectly clean, supplied to meet all our nautical needs. The boat handled with ease, performing well on all different points of sail. On our first leg out to Capri we were forced to use the motor owing to a light easterly breeze. Fuel consumption was remarkably low. Docking was effortlessly achieved both in Capri and later in Amalfi thanks to high maneuverability and the presence of a bow thruster. Anchoring off Positano was likewise a simple operation. This was a supreme experience, not least because of the professionalism and generous character of the owner, and the expert support of his team of collaborators. Marina d’Arechi is easily reached, and affords extraordinary sailing opportunities within a comfortable range. The outing is to be repeated.
Boat in excellent condition kept with care and above all with a perfect mainsail. We had fun sailing around Capri and fully enjoyed the beauty of the Amalfi coast. Elvira is really a beautiful boat, very fun to make 2 tacks. Cleanliness and comfort at the highest levels also considering the age of the boat. Antonio has provided with precision and courtesy all the information useful for the success of the trip to Capri. The boat, Oceanis 41.1, is definitely a boat with an excellent level of cleanliness and maintenance. The sails are easily manoeuvrable thanks to the rollaranda. The engine and the instrumentation on board are new and fully functional. Absolutely recommended!
