The rental price also includes 2 nights at the port: - The night from Saturday to Sunday, just after taking charge of the boat. - The night before returning the sailboat. We spent a wonderful week in Corsica aboard the "Opa Oma." The owner takes great care, and this is reflected in the level of equipment and storage space, which are perfectly suited to cruising and coastal shipping. There were seven of us on board, and it was very comfortable. We had planned for nine, which also seemed more than possible! It was a pleasure to trust the owner. Would do it again.
We had a great stay aboard OpaOma. The boat is well-equipped and practical. Jean-Pierre/Laurent is very approachable and available to answer any questions before and during the charter.

The handling was well explained by the friendly owner. We sailed in Corsica for a week without incident, the boat is well adjusted. The front hood should be refurbished! The large fridge was much appreciated. In our opinion it is a boat for 7 people. max. This is our 3rd reservation on Click&Boat and we have never had any additional costs once the bill has been paid (apart from refueling and our costs / gasoline / our ports or buoys). The day before our departure, the owner asked us for 228 euros more for 2 nights at the port of Ajaccio, and 60 euros for two paddles. A single night at our expense would have been OK... He mentioned that we had to pay a tourist tax of 21 euros, but in the end he offered us this detail. We would have appreciated these costs being mentioned on the quote. Good accounts make good sailors :-)
We spent a week on the boat with 7 people. From Ajaccio towards the north. We encountered wind, squalls and significant swells at the start of the week. The boat is super safe and very maneuverable in these conditions. Easy reefing, perfect genoa furler. The engine, the fridge, the toilets, the navigation lights (we sailed at night) everything works perfectly. The maneuvers are easy, if you are used to maneuvering a boat. A small improvement: a deep cleaning will increase my rating. Thanks to Jean-Pierre for his welcome and his explanations. Yannik.
We spent a wonderful week between Ajaccio and Sardinia with friends. There were 9 of us but this boat is probably more suitable for 8. OpaOma is easy to handle. Her 23 years of sailing have benefited her and she is perfectly well equipped. Jean Pierre, owner of the boat, is reassuring and very accommodating. Reachable at any time, he was able to respond to all our expectations with kindness. Two small downsides that we dealt with with understanding: the tender engine was defective and it was not possible to repair it before departure. The good weather allowed us to strengthen our rowing skills ?. The removable onboard lamps were unreliable and the deck light too weak for night maneuvers. Bring headlamps and perhaps a powerful torch… For those who like sailboats that have worked their magic and are maintained with love, without frills, but with lots of tips from marine experience, OpaOma is made for you

Jea-Pierre's boat is very clean, and super well maintained and prepared for coastal cruising. The mooring, the dinghy, the kitchen equipment, the beds, everything is fine! And we were 11 on board! Departing from Ajaccio, a great boat to discover the south coast of Corsica.

Very good boat that has served well and will serve well for a few more years... For a rental in Corsica, we would have appreciated a linen rental. One more suitcase to lug around than for sheets, we would do without.
Embarked at 9 for a family week in Corsica, we were delighted with the living space of the boat. No surprises, everything was in line with our expectations and our needs. The boat has miles, age, but also a history. We felt safe on this very seaworthy boat. it contributes to the trip and makes us want to explore the Mediterranean more, while our usual navigation basin is rather in the English Channel and the Atlantic.
